If this young team had been better early in the season, they might be on the NCAA Tournament bubble. Mississippi State is a very young team as well. They have nearly twice as many wins as UK, but they have come against a much easier schedule. The Bulldogs have exactly one win over a Top 100 team in the last two months. These two teams are locked in a battle in the middle of the table. The visitors do have a match against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, a huge match for Atletico, who are holding onto a three-point lead in first place in La Liga. Over the weekend, Bilboa extended their unbeaten run to eight matches with a 2-1 win over 10th place Granada. They are the more in-form side in this match up, regardless of the mid-week match. For Celta Vigo, they come off a wild 4-3 win at last place Huesca and are now unbeaten in their last two. Though they will be more rested than Bilboa, we see this side having a major letdown against a better side. Add in Celta Vigo winning the last meeting 2-0 at Bilboa, and there is an edge to this match. Also, the hosts have a losing record to Bilboa at home, going 7-9-7.
