DOC'S SPORTS NBA is on a run of more than +12,000 since last season, and they look to increase their season profit this week. This is around the time last season when Doc’s NBA went on a burst of +8,700 to end the season, and they are extremely confident for a strong end to the season. 

ROBERT FERRINGO is off to a brilliant start to the MLB season, posting six straight winning days and nearly +4,000 in profit on the diamond out of the gate. With Philadelphia locked into the No. 3 slot in the Eastern Conference, there is little reason to have key players participate Friday night in Atlanta. As per usual, Atlanta plays better at home than on the road, and as of this writing, they are 23-16 SU at State Farm Arena. Normally, the 76ers would get strong consideration to knock off the Hawks at home having the better defensive squad and Joel Embiid, but there is no reason for coach Doc Rivers to risk playing Embiid, James Harden, and possibly others. Take ‘Over’ 8.5 Toronto at L.A. Angels (9 p.m., Saturday, April 8)

That’s now back-to-back wins in this space, and I am 47-28 (63%) with my free newsletter plays over the last 75 weeks. Jose Berrios is on the mound for the Blue Jays, and he has been a disaster. He allowed eight runs in just under six innings in his first start of the season. That comes after Berrios was roughed up in the WBC, and he has not been good at all this spring. After a season in which he posted a 5.23 ERA, the only way to play Berrios is to fade him until shows that he is turning a corner. The Angels are going with Tyler Anderson in this one. This is another guy I’m looking to bet against this season. Anderson posted an ERA over 4.30 in five straight seasons before a bit of a renaissance last season with the Dodgers. The Dodgers cut bait with him this offseason, and I think that Anderson will come back to earth this season. The Blue Jays lineup hits lefties hard, and I think they will jump on Anderson in this one.
