DOC’S SPORTS NHL is up more than +6,800 on the young season and has their 8-Unit NHL Totals Game of the Year going on Wednesday (10:30 p.m. EST). They are also eyeing one matchup for Friday for a possible 7-Unit play.

Easy winner with Ohio State last week and I am now 30-14 (68%) with my last 44 free plays. We have racked up 56 of 82 wins in this space (68%) and I am 101-54 (65%) with my free newsletter plays over the last 154 weeks. This game is the Super Bowl for the visiting Bulldogs. They aren’t going to a bowl game and they have had a crappy season. But beat Ole Miss? That would make this a great season. The Rebels, on the other hand, are squarely in the, “What do we care?” mode. Lane Kiffin raided the transfer portal to put together a team capable of winning the SEC or making the playoffs. Last week’s upset loss at Florida was the final nail in their coffin. They are out of the playoff race and this season has to be seen as a failure. I’m not sure what their motivation level is going to be like, especially as a massive favorite. Mississippi State has already stayed within three touchdowns of Tennessee, Texas A&M, Georgia, Texas, Florida and Arizona State this year, so they have found a way to hang around against more talented teams. The underdog has covered the spread in six of the last eight meetings and seven of the last 10. Double-digit underdogs in this series are 3-0 ATS and there hasn’t been a spread this large in this series in over a decade. I like the Bulldogs to creep in the backdoor.
