CFL Prediction From Doc's Sports:
Take ‘Under’ 57.5 in Edmonton at Saskatchewan (9 p.m., Thursday, July 23)
Edmonton scored just 19 points last week and I see them struggling to light up the scoreboard on Thursday in the CFL as Week 8 gets underway at Mosaic Stadium. These are two of the best three teams in the CFL, and both teams have strong defenses, especially the Elks. Edmonton has allowed just 138 points in 6 games. Saskatchewan has allowed over 30 points per game, but they are coming off a bye and that will help them get some defensive players back for this game. Often times when good teams meet, the defenses dominate and we expect a low scoring game on Thursday. Do not miss out on Doc’s Sports Weekend card featuring top plays in Soccer, UFC, CFL, and KBO. CFL Prediction From Scott Rickenbach:
Take 'Under' 57.5 Edmonton at Saskatchewan (9 p.m., Thursday July 23)
The CFL was dominated by high-scoring games early this season and so the bookmakers had to adjust their totals much higher. As so often happens, there has now been an over-correction and this has resulted in value in games just like this one. This is a battle of the top two teams in the West Division this season. Each have only one loss thus far on the year. The Elks have allowed 18 or less points in 3 of their last 4 games. The Roughriders are off a bye week and had allowed an average of just 14.5 points in their two games prior to that. The last 3 weeks these teams have played a combined 5 games and only 1 of them totaled more than 57 points. Considering all of the above plus the high-stakes battle that this divisional game is, an under is expected. Take 'Under' 58 Edmonton at Saskatchewan Thursday night. MLB Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take Milwaukee (-1.5, -120) over Colorado (4 p.m., Friday, July 24)
Back-to-back free play winners. Let’s go for three in a row. Milwaukee has been dominant to start series. Dominant. They have won seven of eight series openers and are a ridiculous 19-2 in their last 21 Game 1’s. Milwaukee is one of the best teams in baseball and swept Colorado easily in their last meeting. The Rockies are 17-34 in their last 51 road games and this team, after being a little plucky for a couple months, is starting to revert to form. They are just 4-8 in their last 12 games and haven’t looked good going it. Colorado is 5-12 in their last 17 road games and today’s scheduled starter, Tomo Sugano, has somehow been worse outside of Coors Field (5.32 ERA) than inside it (4.14). He’s allowed 15 runs in his last two road starts and I think he gets beat up here. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in premium member picks click here. MLB Prediction From Strike Point Sports:
Take L.A. Dodgers (-1.5) over N.Y. Mets (7 p.m., Friday, Aug.7)
This is the first game of this weekend series. The Dodgers were solid in taking two of three from the Yankees in New York last weekend. They played in Philadelphia during the week in a tough series. Now they are back in NYC. Los Angeles is 33-19 on the road this year. The Mets have not been strong at home and are 21-28 in Citi Field. The Mets have been one of the NL’s biggest disappointments. They are just 3-6 in their last nine games and will lose to a far superior Dodgers team. Take Los Angeles. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in premium member picks click here. Existing clients call or email today and we will give you a discount on premium package. Call 1-866-238-6696 or email service@docsports.com and mention newsletter discount. Offer expires at 6 p.m., Friday, Aug.7.
MLB Prediction From Griffin Murphy:
Take Milwaukee (-1.5) over San Francisco (3:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 29)
Milwaukee is entering this game in 1st place in the NL Central with a 63-37 record. San Francisco has been broken all season long on the offensive side, and we don't see anything changing here. San Francisco is 22-25 at home, 25th in baseball when it comes to offensive runs per game, and 25th when it comes to on-base percentage. They do not walk frequently; they struggle to produce runs, and that is why this team is broken. Milwaukee has proven this year they can score on anyone. Milwaukee comes into this game a healthy 4th in offensive runs per game and 1st when it comes to runs allowed against. We expect minimal offense from the Giants and Milwaukee to come out swinging per usual. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in premium member picks click here. WNBA Prediction From Raphael Esparza:
Take ‘Over’ Team Weatherspoon vs. Team Cooper (8:30 p.m., Saturday July 25)
Last year in the WNBA All-Star game the total was around 256 and both teams scored a total of 282 so you can see the total had no issue cashing the 'Over'. I don't play or bet All-Star games in any sport but if this total is under the 280 number bet the 'Over' because I see no defense being played Saturday night. The last couple of days in the WNBA we have seen teams hitting the century mark without playing overtime games and with the league being so young I see another fast-paced WNBA All-Star game with tons of points. MLB Prediction From Nick Menken:
Take Tampa Bay over Cleveland (12:15 p.m., Sunday, July 26)
We are backing the Tampa Bay Rays on the Moneyline on Sunday, July 26th, targeting a prime get-right spot for them back on their home turf. The Rays enter this weekend series needing a turnaround after a sluggish post-All-Star break slump where they went 4-6 over a 10-game stretch. However, after finishing up their road trip in Toronto, returning home is the exact prescription Tampa Bay needs. The Rays have been a completely different beast on their home field, where they boast an elite 35-15 record on the season. While Cleveland comes into the matchup with a respectable 27-24 road record, they have consistently struggled against AL East opponents all year, holding a sub-.500 record in those matchups. Returning to St. Petersburg gives Tampa Bay a massive situational advantage to snap out of their funk and capitalize on a favorable match. Expect the Rays to defend their home park and secure the victory on Sunday. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports sign up now and get $60 in premium member picks click here.
