Arizona at Oregon Picks and College Basketball Odds

The Arizona Wildcats will look to remain perfect on the season when they head to the Great Northwest to face the Oregon Ducks in a Thursday night Pac-12 clash. All the action from Matthew Knight Arena is set to get underway at 9 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
The Wildcats have already survived a couple of close calls en route to a 14-0 straight up start. However, they have failed to cover in four of their last five games to fall to 7-5 against the spread this season. The total has stayed “under” in six of their last eight games with a posted line.
Oregon has also gotten off to a fast start with 12 SU victories in its first 14 games. It is coming off a 79-66 romp over Oregon State this past Sunday as a 1.5-point road favorite. Overall, the Ducks are 7-5 ATS but come into this matchup with a 4-1 record ATS in their last five games. The total has stayed under in four of their last five games with a posted line.
Arizona at Oregon Betting Storylines
Arizona started the season ranked No.12 in the initial AP Poll, but it has worked its way all the way up to fourth by virtue of its unblemished record. The last three games have been a challenge with a one-point win over San Diego State, a controversial overtime win over Colorado and a tight three-point victory over Utah as a 19-point favorite at home. Give credit to the Wildcats for finding a way to win, but wagering on them as favorites recently has been costly.
The primary strength of this team lies in a defense that is giving up just over 60 points a game. It has backed this up with an average of 76.5 points a game on offense. Three players are scoring in double-figures, led by Mark Lyons’ 14.1 points a game. Close behind is Solomon Hill with 13.3 points and Nick Johnson with 12.2. The team as a whole is shooting a respectable 46.3 percent from the field and pulling down 37.9 rebounds a game.
Oregon mirrors the Wildcats on the scoreboard with an average of 77.5 points a game to complement a fine defensive effort that is holding teams to 60.8 points a game. The Ducks are shooting 46.7 percent from the field and just below 39 percent from three-point range. They have a slight advantage under the boards with 41.1 rebounds a game.
The team has done of great job of spreading the ball around with five different players scoring at least 10 points a game. Damyean Dotson has led the way with 11.8 points and Arsalan Kazemi has been a force underneath with a team-high 9.8 rebounds a game. With no one dominant player to concentrate on, the Ducks have proven to be very difficult to defend. They also have solid depth with a bench that is chipping in an average of 30 points a game.

Arizona vs. Oregon Picks and Betting Predictions
