Free NBA Picks Friday 2/7/2020 and Opening Line Report

The NBA Trade Deadline has finished. Please make sure you're aware of
certain trades before making any betting decisions. Friday's NBA slate
features eight games. Currently, plenty of stars are day-to-day or out in
the NBA. This could mean more upsets as plenty of underdogs are home. Here
are the early leans for Friday, February 7.

        Mavericks vs. Wizards 2/7/20

     (+3.5, 220)
Porzingis suffered a broken nose in Wednesday's loss to the Grizzlies. He's
listed as day-to-day but ultimately should wear a mask and be good to go.
Luka Doncic is still out with an ankle injury, and the Mavericks struggled
against Memphis at home. Meanwhile, Washington has played three straight
games at home and will play another against Dallas. The Wizards went 2-1 in
their three home games and will look to stay over .500 in that span. With
Dallas' two stars banged up and uncertain, take the Wizards at home as
underdogs. It'll be a high-scoring game, but Washington will likely be able
    to keep up.

    Key trends:
Wizards are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games.

        Early lean: Wizards, Over

        Grizzlies vs. 76ers 2/7/20

     (-4, 224)
Memphis is probably the most surprising story of the 2019-20 season.
They've rebuilt this team within one year to be a contending team in the
West after all. However, playing the 76ers at home is very challenging.
Sure, Philly will come off a game against the Bucks in a back-to-back, but
the Sixers are 22-2 at home this season. Look for the 76ers to pull away
from the new-look Grizzlies. The 76ers will ultimately need this one badly.

    Key trends:
76ers are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 Thursday games.

        Early lean: 76ers, Under

        Hawks vs. Celtics 2/7/20

     (-6.5, 228)
The Celtics are another team that dominates at home. They're 21-5 at home
this season and will face a Hawks team that has been wheeling and dealing
before the trade deadline. It's going to take a week or two for the new
players to adapt, and therefore the Celtics should run away with this one
as they've won five straight games.

    Key trends:
Celtics are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 after allowing 100 points or more in
    their previous game.

        Early lean: Celtics, Under

        Pistons vs. Thunder 2/7/20

     (-6, 224)
At the time of writing this, Derrick Rose and Andre Drummond are still on
the Pistons. After I write this, the story might be different. Either way,
the Thunder have emerged as a legitimate threat in the West behind a big
time leadership role by Chris Paul. The Thunder have won four of their last
five games and those four wins came against teams under .500. The Pistons
are just another under .500 team that the Thunder will walk through.

    Key trends:
Thunder are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % below
    .400.

        Early lean: Thunder, Over

        Raptors vs. Pacers 2/7/20

     (-1, 218.5)
The Pacers have dropped three straight with the last game coming against
the Raptors. The Raptors won at home, 119-118. Now the Pacers will get
their shot at redemption, at home. The Raptors have won 12 straight games
and the streak has to fade at some point. Take the Pacers to challenge the
Raptors and take home a win at home. It's never easy to beat a team twice.
The Raptors aren't going to be perfect the rest of the way either.

    Key trends:
Pacers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up loss.
Early lean: Pacers, Under

        Rockets vs. Suns 2/7/20

     (+4, 222)

The Rockets will take on the Lakers before the Suns in a back-to-back. Russ
Westbrook is questionable for the Lakers game but should be good to go
against the Suns. The Rockets have won three straight games and are
starting to find a rhythm. They've also brought in Robert Covington and
traded away Clint Capela. It's hard to know how the Rockets are going to
look to contain the bigs for now on. More trades can happen, but I'd like
to think the Suns can get this win at home against a Rockets team that has
    to play the Lakers before.

    Key trends:
Rockets are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 road games.

        Early lean: Suns, Over

        Heat vs. Kings 2/7/20

     (+4.5, 226)
The Heat have five players listed as questionable coming into this game.
Andre Iguodala is one of them. Miami just traded for Iguodala from Memphis
in exchange for Winslow. Jimmy Butler was also diagnosed with a shoulder
strain and could miss a game or two. The Heat are much better at home. It
pains me to say this, but the Kings might have a shot at beating the Heat
at home as the Heat start to get settled in with their new look team.

    Key trends:
Kings are 15-4 ATS in their last 19 games playing on 3 or more days rest.

        Early lean: Kings, Over

        Trail Blazers vs. Jazz 2/7/20

     (-9, 226.5)
In last week's meeting between these two teams, the Blazers beat up on the
Jazz, 124-107 behind Dame Lillard's explosion. Utah has lost five straight
games and are struggling right now. The struggle shouldn't last beyond this
point. The Jazz will be home against a Trail Blazers team that was
destroyed by the Nuggets, 127-99. The Jazz just need one win to get out of
their slump. This game should be the one.

    Key trends:
Jazz are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a road winning
    % of less than .400.

        Early lean: Jazz, Over
