The Arizona Cardinals (11-5) will be going on road to take on the red-hot Carolina Panthers (7-8-1) in the NFC Wild Card game on Saturday. The Cardinals have the better record, but they were second in the NFC West and the Panthers won their division despite finishing with a losing record.

The Cardinals are coming into the playoffs on a bit of a cold streak. They won nine of their first 10 games this season, but they lost four of their final six. In Week 17, they lost 20-17 on the road to the San Francisco 49ers.

Arizona's defense gave up plenty of yards this season, but they were fifth in the NFL in points against by only allowing their opponents to score 18.7 points per game against them. Wide receiver Michael Floyd finished the year with 47 receptions for 841 yards and a team-high six touchdowns.

Many will see the Panthers as being lucky to even be in the playoffs, but they may be one of the more feared teams right now. They were just 3-8-1 after their Week 13 loss, but they were able to win their last four, including a 34-3 rout of the Atlanta Falcons in their final game.

The Panthers were seventh in the NFL in rushing this season by averaging 127.2 yards per game on the ground. Quarterback Cam Newton hasn't had the best season as he has thrown for 3,127 yards with 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
