Jacksonville Jaguars Odds to Win the Super Bowl

If the oddsmakers are to be believed then the Jacksonville Jaguars are, at best, tied for the worst team in the league heading into the season. They sit at 200/1 to win the Super Bowl according to Bovada - the same price as the Raiders and a full 50 points behind any other team in the league. The problem with a team this bad is that it is hard to decide which of the serious problems to focus on first. The quarterback situation is uncertain, and while Blaine Gabbert seems to be the guy the team would prefer to win the job, he won’t be helped by an ankle injury that will cost him at least a week early in camp. Justin Blackmon, their second best offensive weapon, will miss the first four games of the year thanks to a suspension caused by his own stupidity. Top weapon Maurice Jones-Drew needs to re-establish his dominance after an injury-riddled campaign. With a new GM and a first time head coach, there are inevitably going to be adjustment issues - especially because they have so many holes to attempt to fill. The crowd support is suspect at best as well. And there is a schedule that features at least five road games against potential playoff teams, some very tough home contests, and a game in London against the Niners that promises to be extremely ugly. Keep an eye on the odds below because there is a very good chance that Bovada will make them even longer by the time the season rolls around.
