Bet this one early because this line is only going to get bigger. I think that North Carolina is going to bomb Boston College, a team that hasn’t played since Dec. 13. I know I am in the minority here, but I actually think that North Carolina is a bit undervalued going into ACC play. Their only three losses this year have come against Purdue, Kentucky and Tennessee, all on neutral courts. They also have a big win over Michigan. They have size in the middle, some up-and-coming guards, and I am a big fan of Brady Manek. Boston College, on the other hand, is a mess. Their last game was a home loss to Albany, and head coach Earl Grant has a major rebuild on his hands. I don’t see this one being decided by single digits. The Titans have also played well at home of late, winning 6 of their last 7 games played in Tennessee. Miami has rattled off 7 straight wins, but only one of those came against a team with a winning record, and 5 of the 7 were against bottom level teams with 5 of the 7 against teams with 10+ losses currently. None of this was unexpected, either, as the Dolphins were favored to win 6 of those 7 contests, and overall their strength of schedule is ranked 2nd easiest in pro football. They are ranked No. 29 in total offense, and they only average 20 points per game on the season. Detroit is No. 23 in total offense and No. 29 in scoring at just 17.3 points per game. The Lions have also been held below 14 points in half of their last 10 games. They have scored below 20 points in nine of their last 10. The ‘under’ has hit in back-to-back games for Detroit and is 10-3 in their last 13 overall. The ‘under’ is 6-1 in Detroit’s last seven road games and is 11-5 when Seattle is the favorite.
