This is being written up prior to the Game 4 result in Vegas but no matter that result the key here is what Vegas has been doing on the road as well as how Carolina has been playing at home. MLB Prediction From Strike Point Sports:

Take Milwaukee (-1.5) over Philadelphia (7:40 p.m., Friday, June 12)

This would be a fun playoff series and with the way the Phillies have turned their season around, it certainly could happen. Jacob Misiorowski has been nearly unhittable, as it would be hard for anybody to hit what you can barely see with how fast he throws the ball. Misiorowski has allowed just 1 earned run over his last 7 starts (45.1 IP, 65 K’s) and I think the Phillies are going to have a tough time generating any offense against him. Andrew Painter has been horrible for Philadelphia (1-7, 6.21 ERA), after much was expected of him this season. It’s not all on him though, as the offense has only scored 29 runs over the 11 starts (12 appearances) he has made, but I don’t see them breaking out in this one. The Brewers offense can score runs with anybody and I think they will take complete advantage in this matchup. Take ‘Under’ 8.0 Miami at Pittsburgh (4 p.m., Saturday, June 13)

Sandy Alcantara looks like he is getting it going a bit. He’s won his last two starts and he has 25 strikeouts to just two walks over his last five starts. He’s gone seven full in his last two outings and he is facing a Pittsburgh lineup that has been playing over its head a bit. Bubba Chandler has lost eight of his last nine starts for the Pirates. He throws hard, though, and has 26 strikeouts in his last four starts (to nine walks). He’s faced some tough lineups and I think he’ll be decent at home after five of seven starts away from home. Soccer Prediction From Doc's Sports:

Take Germany (-3.5) over Curacao (1 p.m., Sunday June 14)

The expanded World Cup has 16 more sides at 48 compared to the 32 that competed in the past. Therefore, there will be a major talent disparity in some matchups. This is one of those matchups. A major change is that goal differential is not the main tiebreaker for the knockout stage. If two teams are tied on points, the first tiebreaker will be head-to- head matchups. This eliminates the need for clubs to run up the score, so we think there will be a lack of blowouts in this tournament. However, we do think this one will be ugly, as even the German subs will be taking target practice late against Curacao. The tiny island nation is playing in its first World Cup and is just happy to be here. This is the smallest nation ever to qualify for the big tournament. They will likely be embarrassed here, however. They will have a better chance for a little national pride in matches against Ivory Coast and Ecuador in Group E matches, but that probably means just scoring a goal, which is unlikely here against the German giants. Curacao looked horrible in their World Cup warmups, as they lost to China, Australia and Scotland with a goal differential of -9 (as of this writing, with one more warm up match). Germany is head and shoulders above those sides, and they should win this one by four or five goals without much effort. Take Chicago Cubs (-1.5) over Colorado (8 p.m., Monday, June 15)

Chicago is at Wrigley for this one, and it’s a night game. Colorado is again arguably one of the worst teams in baseball, and we just don't see how they are going to keep up with the Cubs. We are aware the Cubs have descended slightly this season, but our outlook for them is far from over yet. We believe Chicago’s offense is too much to handle for the Rockies, and we cannot make a statement for how Colorado is going to come into Wrigley and win this game.
