Soccer Prediction From Doc's Sports:

Take Chelsea (+0.5, -115) over Liverpool (7:30 a.m., Saturday May 9)

This line is fishy with Liverpool laying the small number and we will side with struggling Chelsea in this one. They need at least a draw to cash this ticket. Liverpool is dealing with a ton of injuries right now and they won’t have their usual formidable squad heading into this crucial match vs. The Blues. They have a couple matches left to solidify their Champions League position, but Chelsea will be motivated as well. They have suffered a run of bad form which was compounded by a 3-1 home loss to Nottingham Forest on Monday. But they always get up for a visit to Anfield, and they have a real chance here for a signature win against a hobbled Liverpool side. Chelsea have won the last two meetings and we think the Monday result was a case of them looking ahead to this match. We expect their best performance here, and we think they play well enough to pick up at least a point. NBA Prediction From Robert Ferringo:

Take ‘Over 8.5 L.A. Angels at Toronto (3 p.m., Saturday, May 9)

Solid win with our free play last week. Let’s do it again with another Angels total. Jack Kochanowicz has been pitching above his head. His velocity has been good. But he’s been getting by with his flat fastball. Kochanowicz has a .225 BABIP, which is absolutely not going to continue. Toronto just got shut down by Tampa Bay, scoring just four runs across that three-game series. Their bats should be ready for a bounce back. Trey Yesavage has been good in his two starts this season. He has just a 0.86 ERA and that is due for some regression as well. The Angels have the No. 24 pitching staff ERA in the Majors and Toronto’s staff has been pretty mediocre.
