by Jason Radowitz - 7/17/2020
Being a rookie in 2020 can’t be a good feeling knowing you’re only going to play a third of a season. However, there will be many rookies given a chance with plenty of players opting out of the 2020 season due to the Corona Virus worldwide pandemic. Here are the rookies that are in line for a solid workload in 2020:
49th-Year Anniversary - 3 for 1 Start MLB Picks Special
by Doc's Sports - 7/16/2020
Major League Baseball betting is one of the most profitable sports investments that a gambler can undertake. Whether it is re-investing the money that you made from basketball and winter sports or boosting your bankroll before football season, MLB baseball betting is the perfect avenue for solid, consistent profit while passing the time in those long summer months.
2020 MLB MVP Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Jason Radowitz - 7/14/2020
As bettors, we’ve never been in this sort of pickle before. With a shortened season on the horizon, it’s hard to know what the MVP’s stats will look like when all is said and done. Will there be multiple hitters hitting better than .350? Can a starting pitcher get so hot to start the season and never lose a game?
2020 MLB Cy Young Award Odds and Predictions for AL and NL
by Jason Radowitz - 7/13/2020
If you’re looking to bet on the Cy Young, it might be a good idea to look at seasonal stats. There are pitchers who perform better towards the end of the season in the compared to spring ball in March and April. Currently, there are two New York pitchers who are considered to be favorites to win their league’s respective Cy Young. The New York media would be in a frenzy if this took place, but it’s not farfetched.
2020 World Series Predictions with Futures Odds and Expert Analysis
by Chris Vasile - 7/10/2020
We often talk about how the MLB season is a marathon, not a sprint, as it’s 162 games and spans over eight months. This season will have a completely different feel and demeanor as it’s been whittled down to just 60 games, which is essentially a sprint in the baseball world. The best teams – read: team with most talent – should be able to overcome the shortened season and put themselves in a great position to reach the playoffs and make a run at the title.
2020 MLB Season Win Totals Predictions
by Chris Vasile - 7/8/2020
We are just a few weeks away from the start of the 2020 MLB season, and I figured now would be a great time to touch on every team’s season win total with some predictions. Remember, this season is a 60-game sprint, and teams won’t have the luxury to manage a few losing streaks throughout the season. Every game is critical and as such, every win is worth its weight in gold.
KBO Predictions and Expert Korean Baseball Analysis
by Robert Ferringo - 5/4/2020
Do you remember the part in the movie Major League where a construction worker, upon seeing the Cleveland Indians roster in the newspaper, turns to his fellow worker and says, “Who are these f@#king guys?” That pretty much sums it up when it comes to the Korean Baseball Organization.
Korean Baseball Betting Advice: What to Know About The KBO
by Robert Ferringo - 5/4/2020
While Major League Baseball is still on hiatus, the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) has its opening day on Tuesday, May 5. Several of these games, played in South Korea, will be broadcast live on ESPN with potential re-airings throughout the day.
2020 Kansas City Royals Predictions and Odds to Win the World Series
by Robert Ferringo - 4/21/2020
Part of the reason that Kansas City’s 2015 World Series win was so exciting and engrossing was the knowledge that it would never last. The sheer oddity of it -- the Royals? Champions? -– and the fact that it came out of nowhere made Kansas City’s back-to-back pennants and one title one of the best stories of modern baseball history.
MLB Triple Crown Winners
by Strike Point Sports - 4/21/2020
The sport of baseball has a storied past and is considered ‘America’s Pastime’ for good reason. The crack of the bat, the blazing summer sunshine, and the smell of a ballpark hotdog are all things that many of us grew up with and still dream of.
2020 Cincinnati Reds Predictions and Odds to Win the World Series
by Robert Ferringo - 4/8/2020
It is easy to forget that the 2010s began with a bit of a franchise Renaissance for the Cincinnati Reds, as they won 90 or more games and made the playoffs three times in four years. That was their most sustained four-year run of success since the powerhouse teams of the 1970s.
2020 Miami Marlins Predictions and Odds to Win the World Series
by Robert Ferringo - 3/31/2020
If you are reading an article about the Miami Marlins baseball season, you are either extraordinarily desperate and reaching the end of your mental rope or you one of like 34 actual Marlins fans in existence. Either way, you should probably start to question some of your life choices.
2020 Baltimore Orioles Predictions and Odds to Win the World Series
by Robert Ferringo - 3/31/2020
Baltimore made a seven-game improvement from 2018-2019. That's the good news. The bad news is that they still lost 108 games last season and that their win total over the last two years (101) is still two games short of the 103 games that New York won last season.
2020 Toronto Blue Jays Predictions and Odds to Win the World Series
by Robert Ferringo - 3/30/2020
Toronto looks ready to turn the corner on their rebuilding effort. They have one of the most promising and exciting young cores in baseball, with second-generation stars-in-the-making Bo Bichette, Cavan Biggio and Vlad Guerrero Jr. all at the fore. That trio is the headliner, but there is a fountain of other young talent around them and a lineup stacked with high-upside guys that are all 26 or younger.
2020 Tampa Bay Rays Predictions and Odds to Win the World Series
by Robert Ferringo - 3/27/2020
The Rays won 96 games last year, far surpassing even the rosiest projections for them prior to the season. They were massive overachievers yet finished just No. 13 in the Majors in profit for their $100-per-game bettors. They were No. 2 in MLB profit in 2018, so a regression could be expected. But if you can't turn a healthy profit while winning nearly 100 games, you have to wonder how much value there is on this team.
2020 Boston Red Sox Predictions and Odds to Win the World Series
by Robert Ferringo - 3/26/2020
Two years ago, the Boston Red Sox were World Series champions on the back of their sign-stealing scheme. They are cheaters. And it looks like this season they will pay the price. Even though I don't expect any significant punishments from Major League Baseball, the Red Sox are likely to suffer this year due to a mix of bad karma, bad blood from other teams, and bad roster composition.
2020 New York Yankees Predictions and Odds to Win the World Series
by Robert Ferringo - 3/25/2020
Naturally, the New York Yankees will find a way to benefit from the apocalypse. Obviously I'm joking, and attempting to add some levity to a terrible situation. (After all, this is an article about baseball.) But the reality is that the Yankees had several players rehabbing injuries that were slated to miss Opening Day. If the season opener gets pushed back into May (or later), then that should lead to New York getting James Paxton, Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton back at full strength. That completely changes the makeup of their team.
2020 Philadelphia Phillies Predictions and Odds to Win the World Series
by Robert Ferringo - 3/25/2020
Heading into the 2019 season, Philadelphia was the team with the biggest bandwagon in the league. Their stunning signing of Bryce Harper had vaulted them to the top of everyone's Hot List, and the Phillies were installed as one of the favorites to win the National League and take the World Series.
2020 Washington Nationals Predictions and Odds to Win the World Series
by Robert Ferringo - 3/23/2020
I am willing to wager that if you stopped 100 men on the street and asked them who is the defending World Series champion in Major League Baseball, that somewhere between 60-70 of them wouldn't be able to tell you. As I'm sure you put together from the title of this article (or maybe you were in the 30-40 percent of people that just knew), it was the Washington Nationals.
Cactus League Observations: MLB Predictions for Cubs, Indians, Royals and Brewers
by Doug Upstone - 3/23/2020
The Joe Madden era is over, and David Ross takes over as manager. The hope for management is that it will toughen up this team mentally. However, the sense you get by not upgrading the starting pitcher and those persistent Kris Bryant trade rumors is that the ownership paid a ton of money to rebuild, change the feel of the park and surrounding area and still got a World Series title and is content to rake in profits.
