Click here for the current Carolina Panthers Schedule.
Two years ago the Carolina Panthers were league darlings, and rookie QB Cam Newton was unanimously proclaimed the greatest thing since sliced bread. What happened since is proof of just how fickle the public can be. Newton didn’t take a step forward and exhibited some serious attitude concerns. Meanwhile, an incredible batch of fresh rookies stole his sunshine. Now Bovada has him and his team sitting at 66/1 to win the Super Bowl - way down in the bottom third of the league. If Newton shows renewed focus and determination this preseason, those odds will fall, so look out below for the most recent updates. The team still has some holes, but they are healthier than they have been recently -- a distinction that isn’t difficult for this snake-bitten team. They won their last four games last year, so they potentially have some major momentum to build on. A serious Super Bowl contender? Probably not. Better chance than these odds suggest? Could be.
