Take 'Over' 3.0 Barcelona vs. Valencia (3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10)
Barcelona took the first leg in this one by a score of 7-0, so they are pretty much through to the next round as we don't see them losing by eight goals on Monday. Valencia basically quit once they were down 3-0 early and they missed a penalty kick in that stretch that would have maybe gotten them back in the game. We obviously do expect Valencia to win, but we have to think they are going to play a wide-open style of game to try and put something on the board against Barcelona. Problem with that is that you leave yourself vulnerable to a counter attack, and with Barca being one of the best teams in the country they usually are quick to jump on an opponent's mistake. Look for a better effort from Valencia tonight as new manager Gary Neville is already on the hot seat and the team should be more focused than they were last time out. They also don't have a win in nine league games under Neville, so they are really looking for anything to put them on the right track. Barcelona should sit back a bit with the 7-goal lead, but guys like Messi, Suarez and Neymar still want to get their goals so we're looking for another high-scoring game at EstadioMestalla on Wednesday afternoon. Take UAB (+1) over Louisiana Tech (4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13)
Fresno State hit for us last week, and that's now three straight weeks with free play wins. Let's hit a superfecta here with a winner from a more obscure conference. Don't forget that I will have a 7-Unit Play on Saturday and I have gone an eye-popping 8-1 with my last nine college hoops plays rated 5.0 or higher and I am in the midst of a sensational +$6,000 college basketball run overall. In this game I am going with UAB solely because I don't think that Louisiana Tech is any good. They were the conference regular-season champs last year and a legit NCAA Tournament-caliber team. UAB has absolutely everyone back from the team that bombed Tech at home (by 20) last year and beat them handily in the conference tournament (by 10). Louisiana Tech has some ugly road losses to bad teams and their home wins are getting less and less impressive. UAB is on a 17-1 overall run and Jerod Haase is doing a fantastic job with what is still a young team. UAB has great balance and a lot of confidence, and after Tech loses to Middle Tennessee Thursday I think UAB is going to drive the dagger home with an upset win on Saturday. Go with the Blazers. Take Klay Thompson (+375) to Win the 3-Point Contest (Saturday)
Yes, I now the other 'Splash Brother' will probably take most of the action and even J.J. Redick will get some love, but I'm going with Klay Thompson Saturday night. MVP Stephen Curry was horrible last year in the 3-point contest and I see him struggling again in Toronto. If Klay and get hot early I see him staying hot and taking home the trophy Saturday night. You might want to wait because again I see Curry and Redick getting tons of action and we might see Klay get up to 4-1 or higher.

Take Michigan State (-8.5) over Indiana (1 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 14)
There will be no love lost between these two teams on Valentine's Day! Michigan State has been back playing at its elite level since getting Denzel Valentine back healthy and I think that they are going to tear apart Indiana here in Michigan. Sparty has won its last four games by an average of 23 points per game! That includes big wins over Michigan and Maryland. Indiana went on an excellent 12-game winning streak in December and January. But they are just 2-2 in their last four games and have that bad loss at Penn State over last weekend. The Hoosiers host Iowa on Thursday in Bloomington and I think that win or lose they are going to have a letdown on Sunday. Michigan State won this matchup at home by 20 points last year and they have really had the upper hand against the Hoosiers during the Tom Izzo era. This looks like another big blowout winner.
