Now Doc’s turns their attention back to their specialty league, Liga MX, for a 7-Unit pick on Thursday. This is the league where Doc’s already scored an 8-Unit winner earlier this month, and they hit numerous big plays from Liga MX last year.
ROBERT FERRINGO hit a 7-Unit College Basketball Play Tuesday (San Jose State) and is now 105-70 (60%), +20,200 on college hoops plays rated 5.0+. That is a long-term 60% run over 175 plays, and he is releasing an 8-Unit College Basketball Game of the Year on Saturday. Free NBA Basketball Prediction From Arun Shiva:
Take Charlotte over Chicago (7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26)
We like the Hornets to hang tough vs the Bulls here Thursday evening. The Hornets have now won two straight, both on the road, after a five-game losing streak (on Monday as we write this). "We certainly have to learn how to win," Hayward said. "In this league it's difficult, and we've got to take every win we can right now and try to build on it and improve on the things we didn't do well and keep doing the things that we did well." He has averaged 15.3 points, 3.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds in the three games he's played in the Beehive State, where he spent the first seven years of his NBA career and reached All-Star status. Terry Rozier has also been playing well. "We are just trying to put wins together," Rozier said. "Teams are probably looking at us and looking at our record, probably looking at it like an off night to relax. We are coming in and we are just trying to play hard and control what we can control. Obviously, our last two games we were able to do that and get a win, so we are just looking forward and hopefully we can keep doing that." After starting the season with strong hopes, the Bulls have been uneven at best through the first 45 games, and they came into the week sitting 10th in the Eastern Conference, good for the final spot in the play-in tournament. Monday starts a stretch in which the Bulls will play consecutive games against teams directly ahead of them in the standings -- Atlanta and Indiana -- before this game vs Charlotte and Orlando to close a three-game road trip. We think the Hornets being at home will give them some energy and we think they have a great shot at the outright win here, so let's roll with Charlotte Thursday evening. Free Soccer Prediction From Doc's Sports:
Take Manchester City (-135) over Arsenal (3 p.m., Friday Jan. 27)
(Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time - if game ends in a DRAW we have a LOSER) Arsenal is surprisingly atop the Premier League table, but we don’t think they are the better side here. And this is an FA Cup match and not an EPL matchup. But we think the result will be similar to recent meetings between these clubs. Manchester City has a +11-goal differential in the last five matchups regardless of the status of the match. All have been City wins. City is five points back in the EPL and we think when all is said and done that they will be the better side, and we expect their run of dominance in this series to continue on Friday. Free College Basketball Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take Creighton (-5.5) over Xavier (12:15 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29)
After last week’s win, I am now 42-24 (63%) with my free plays in this space over the last 65 weeks. Let’s see if we can get another hit here. Creighton needs this one. They are only 11-8 and they don’t have a bad loss on their resume this year. They also don’t have that many great wins. And here is a chance to get a big one. Xavier is in a killer letdown spot here after a big game in Storrs against Connecticut. The Musketeers have to play in Storrs and then make that long trip out to Nebraska. Creighton can be a whole different animal in its own gym. This team hasn’t lost at home since Dec. 4, and their Big East home wins have come by 22, 15, 22 and 6 points. Creighton is 30-8 straight up at home over the last three seasons and 19-6 in Big East play. I’ve seen this Creighton team play at a high level, which they did when they nearly won the Maui Invitational. This is an NCAA Tournament-caliber team, and they need an NCAA Tournament-caliber win. I think they get one here. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports, sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Free College Basketball Prediction From Strike Point Sports:
Take Indiana State over Northern Iowa (2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29)
It was a nice winner last week with Middle Tennessee State over Charlotte. This week we are going into the Missouri Valley. Indiana State got off to a great start to the season. This team was 13-4 overall and won its first six MVC games to vault to first place in the league. The wheels have come off since then, and they have lost five straight games. Indiana State’s last loss at Drake saw them come from behind from a 20-point deficit and lose, 70-68. I think they will rebound with a win here against the Panthers. Northern Iowa has had the opposite season as the Sycamores. They started off 3-7. But they have gone 8-2 since then and are now 7-3 in league play. They are now in third place in the league despite being one of the youngest teams in the Missouri Valley. I think Indiana State will bounce back and snap their losing streak with a win here. Free NFL Prop Prediction From Raphael Esparza:
Take George Kittle ‘Over’ 46.5 Receiving Yards (3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29)
Kittle had a total of 95 yards last week at home against the Dallas Cowboys, and I see him blowing up this total. I know in his last 5 games he has only hit this prop twice, but I see the Tight Ends of San Fran being used all game long in Philadelphia. Free NFL Prop Prediction From Doug Upstone:
Take Ja’Marr Chase (+100) Anytime TD (6:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29)
Cincinnati at Kansas City looks like an epic football game for who goes to the Super Bowl from the AFC. Picking a side and a total won’t be an easy choice for this contest, but one aspect seems obvious. Joe Burrow might take the crown as the NFL’s best quarterback if he can lead the Bengals to a Super Bowl victory. Cincy has a formidable array of weapons Burrow can call upon, and one of his favorites is Ja’Marr Chase. The still only 22-year-old has averaged almost eight catches since returning from an injury in early December, being targeted 11.4 times a contest. Chase has had three straight games with a touchdown and five of his last six and figures to add some more this week. Free NFL Football Prediction From Jason Sharpe:
Take 'Over' 46.5 Cincinnati at Kansas City (6:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 30)
The strength of these two teams lies on the offensive side of the football. These two teams faced each other in Kansas City back in early December, and that game finished with 51 points scored in a game that had a total that closed at 53.5. They also went head-to-head twice last season, and those two games averaged 58 points scored and with an average total of 53 points. Obviously, the posted total in this game is quite a bit lower than those past matchups because of the question marks and concerns behind Patrick Mahomes with his ankle injury. With that said, the Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is an offensive genius and he's proven to be smart enough to figure things out when a KC game is expected to have a lower total. Over the past two seasons, the Chiefs have played 14 games lined lower than 50 points, and they went above that total in 9 of those 14 contests. Play 'over' the total in this one. Free College Basketball Prediction From Allen Eastman:
Take ‘Over’ 46.5 Cincinnati at Kansas City (6:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30)
I am looking for a shootout between these two teams. These two teams have met three times in the last 12 months. They have scored over 50 points combined in all three games. Last year’s AFC Championship Game was a 27-24 Bengals win, and this year’s regular season meeting in December was a 27-24 Bengals win. The last five games between these two teams have scored over 50 points combined. The Chiefs and Bengals both went ‘under’ in their games last week, and I think that both of them will bounce back. The ‘over’ is 8-1 in Cincinnati’s last nine games after a win by 14 or more points, and the ‘over’ is 10-4 in Kansas City’s last 14 games in January. The Chiefs have averaged 32 points per game over their last 12 playoff games. Take the ‘over’.
