Raphael Esparza wrapped up an incredible college basketball season, cashing in for $12,000 for his clients. Now he turns his focus to the upcoming playoffs in the NBA and NHL. Esparza has been dominating the NHL, posting over $11,000 in profit on the season. He has gone 90-54 (62%) on the year and will have a 6-Unit NHL Play on Thursday. He has also found a groove in the NBA, cashing three of four plays in The Association. Esparza will have a 7-Unit NBA Total on Friday and he has churned out $4,300 in winnings over the last three months. Saturday afternoon Esparza is also looking for five of eight winning horse races with picks in Wood Memorial, Blue Grass Stakes, and the Santa Anita Derby. Esparza dominated the Florida Derby last week and will look for another big score. Indian Cowboy had a dream MLB season in 2015, going 106-65 for $16,200 in profit. The Hawks need this game more than the Raptors do, and they are a strong home team. Look for Atlanta to control this game from the outset. Atlanta is just plain better on the offensive end of the floor as they score more points, shoot better from the field, shoot better from the line, and have a better assist-to-turnover ratio. The Raptors are nearly locked into the two seed (Cavs would need to fall apart), while the Hawks are in a battle for third. They want the third seed, and they want to prove that they are better than Toronto, whom they would meet up with if they play in the 2 vs. 3 matchup in the semifinals. I am thrilled that baseball is back! I have posted six of seven winning MLB seasons and I am ready to pad my bankroll all summer long. They will be going with young Yordano Ventura in this one. People thought he wasn't very good last year. But he still won 13 games and had a higher strikeout-to-walk ratio than his breakout 2014. He is still just 25 years old and entering his prime. I think he'll be great to start off the season, and he has always been much better at home. The Twins are going with Tommy Milone. But Kansas City was one of the best lineups in baseball against left-handed pitching the last to years. I think the Royals are still one of the best teams in baseball, and they should prove it again this week by pounding a division rival.

The New York Yankees will go with the big lefty CC Sabathia here in this one. Sabathia is now 35 years old and has posted three straight ugly seasons with an ERA above 4.70 overall. He faces a lethal Tigers offense that hits lefties very hard as the Tigers are loaded with right-handed bats. Detroit will counter with a veteran arm of their own in this one with the 32-year-old Mike Pelfrey getting the start. The free agent-acquired Pelfrey looked great this spring with his new team as he posted a WHIP of just 1.08 and an ERA of 2.66. Lots of line value on him going into this year as his defensive middle infielders are much better with the Tigers than he had with the Twins, and that's huge for this ground-ball pitching machine. Take 'Over' 8.0 Tampa Bay at Baltimore Orioles (7 p.m., Saturday, April 9)
This Baltimore Orioles lineup is built to mash, and we should see plenty of totals soaring over when they play in the hitter-friendly Camden Yards. Last season the O's were third in the majors in home runs, and they went out and added Mark Trumbo and Pedro Alvarez in the offseason to make the lineup even more dangerous. I also like the improvements that the Tampa Bay Rays made to their offense by bringing in Corey Dickerson, Logan Morrison and Steve Pearce. Chris Tillman in scheduled to get the ball for Baltimore in this one, and he had an extremely shaky spring, posting a 7.24 ERA and 2.12 WHIP in four starts. Tampa will counter with Drew Smyly, who gave up five earned runs in his last start against the Blue Jays. Take Pacquiao (-220) over Bradley Jr. (11 p.m., Saturday, April 9)
Manny Pacquiao will look for back-to-back wins over Timothy Bradley Jr. when the two meet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday night for the vacant WBO International Welterweight Title. This will be the third fight between the two boxers, and in our eyes Manny should be going for three in a row because if you go back and watch the first fight between the two back in June of 2012, there is no way he lost the fight. Somehow, the judges sided with Bradley in a split decision in what was one of the worst decisions in boxing history. We see this one playing out more like the second fight between the two with Manny dominating from the opening bell. Pacquiao won that one by unanimous decision, and this one should end in the same fashion. Neither boxer can really hurt the other with a knockdown, so we expect this one to go the distance but we think that Manny's hand speed and footwork will be too much for Bradley once again. Like we mentioned earlier, we think Manny is 2-0 against Bradley, so we'll lay the price with him here to get another win over Timothy Bradley on Saturday night in Vegas.
