We're recommending a play on North Texas plus the points over Utah State in Saturday's New Mexico Bowl. We've been on Utah State a few times this season with success, including our preseason Over winner on the Aggies' projected wins total. Take 'Over' 59 Tulane vs. ULL Lafayette (1:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15)

For the AutoNation Cure Bowl this Saturday, we like the Over between these two teams. Sure, the line is going down, but we're not too worried about it as we still like the Over though the public likes the Under. Remember, you have a Tulane team that has fired their offensive coordinator recently and promoted a young chap to the reigns as he is likely to open up the offense in this bowl game. This is a Tulane team that has traditionally been a run-first team as they have the former Georgia Southern coach leading the way, but he is more open to have a more prolific passing game it seem as the future unfolds. As per Lafayette, they can certainly score points, but it has not been evident because they faced 4 teams who are of elite caliber this year, including Alabama, Mississippi State and App State twice (who is one of the best smaller conference schools in for a generation now). Lafayette can score when they face a mediocre defense here as they are a top 40 offense even with those teams on schedule. The total is high for a reason here as we like the Over as Tulane has a new offensive coordinator and Lafayette will likely open it up here facing a mediocre defense as this game likely goes over the posted total this Saturday.
