Esparza will have a 6-Unit College Football Bowl Play Saturday and Sunday he will follow up with a 6-Unit NFL Play. Saturday night UFC has another great fight card in Las Vegas, and Esparza is looking for another 6-Unit Fight of the Night Play. He is 16-8, +6,075 with his last 24 boxing/UFC selections. Free College Football Prediction From Arun Shiva:
Take #201 Toledo (-10) over Middle Tennessee (Noon, Friday, Dec. 17)
The College Football Bowl Season will begin on Friday, December 17, with a matchup between Middle Tennessee and Toledo at the Bahamas Bowl. This will be Toledo’s second appearance in the Bahamas Bowl. The Rockets’ fell 35-32 to FIU in the 2018 Bahamas Bowl — the program’s most recent bowl appearance. Middle Tennessee took the trek to Nassau in 2015 but couldn’t claim the trophy, as Western Michigan prevailed in 45-31 fashion. Whichever team emerges victorious that Friday will win its first-ever Bahamas Bowl. Both team’s defenses are much stronger than their offenses. Toledo ranks 13th in opponent yards per play; Middle Tennessee ranks 37th. They are 22nd and 103rd in offensive yards per play, respectively. Here’s the thing with Middle Tennessee. They have to create turnovers. That’s what they do. The defense forces turnovers, the offense capitalizes off the mistakes, and that has been their bread and butter this year. However, again, Toledo leads the nation with the fewest turnovers, giving it up just six times. That’s a big deal. Toledo can run the ball and protect the ball. This should be enough for Toledo to cash the ticket on Friday. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports, sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Free College Basketball Prediction From Doc's Sports:
Take Villanova over Creighton (8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 17)
Big East play gets underway on Friday for these two teams, and expect Villanova to pick up a road win in this game. Creighton lost a bunch of talent from last season, and they are not as good as their record would indicate. Villanova struggled against the top teams in their nonconference schedule, but they are a different animal in the Big East. Look for them to go 1-0 in conference play as we collect along the way. Do not miss out on Doc’s Sports Weekend card, featuring our World-Famous College Basketball Nonconference Game of the Year on Saturday. This play has a lifetime record of 11-1, and you can purchase it on Saturday. Sign-up now and let 50 years of handicapping experience work for you. Free College Football Prediction From Doug Upstone:
Take #216 Utah State (+7) over Oregon State (2:15 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18)
A Pac-12 vs. Mountain West matchup sounds like a mismatch right from the start. But hold on. This game is drawing a primetime audience on ABC, mostly because the title sponsor is Jimmy Kimmel. No question Oregon State is a deserving favorite, but here’s the rub. Among the aspects every bettor should consider for making college football picks for bowls is the opponents' road record. Though the Beavers play in the stronger conference, they were 1-5 SU and ATS on the road. Conversely, Utah State was a perfect 7-0 SU away from home and covered the spread in six of those contests. The Aggies arrive in L.A. on a 7-1 SU (5-2 ATS) and are excited to impress. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports, sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Free College Basketball Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take Indiana (-4) over Notre Dame (2:30, Saturday, Dec. 18)
We are now 11-4 on our last 15 newsletter free plays, and I am looking for another W with this one. Notre Dame stepped up and had a moment for itself last weekend, taking down Kentucky in South Bend. Unfortunately for them, that magic isn’t going to work on this neutral court. This team has beaten exactly one team off its home court, and that was a win over D-II Chaminade at a neutral site. The Hoosiers don’t have any big wins yet. The lost their two biggest games, falling to Syracuse and Wisconsin, both on the road. The thing is, they should’ve won both of those games. And if they had they would be 10-0 right now and this line would be at least 6.5 or 7.0. Indiana has two studs in the post, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Race Thompson, and several experienced guards and support players. They are a very balanced team, and they should be able to take it to a Notre Dame team that isn’t very deep and isn’t very athletic. This one won’t look like a big win a the end of the season. But it’s a big game now, and I think the Hoosiers are going to handle their business. If you don’t have an account at Doc’s Sports, sign up now and get $60 in free premium member picks click here. Free NFL Football Prediction From Raphael Esparza:
Take #306 Cleveland (-3) over Las Vegas (4:30 p.m., Saturday Dec. 18)
Saturday NFL Football kicks off as the Las Vegas Raiders make a trip to Cleveland. The Browns have been dealing with COVID and will be missing some key guys, but whoever is on the field I see the Browns beating/covering against the Raiders. The Raiders were embarrassed by Kansas City on Sunday, and the Raiders come into this game dropping 5 out 6 games. The Raiders are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games, and the Raiders are 3-10 ATS after allowing 30 points or more in their last game. Free NFL Football Prediction From Jason Sharpe:
Take #322 Detroit (+13.5) over Arizona (1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 19)
The Detroit Lions have been a good team to bet on this year despite the fact they have the worst straight-up record in the NFL so far this season. The Lions are coming off an ugly 38-10 loss in Denver to the Broncos. Detroit's 1st year head coach Dan Campbell has done a good job getting his team to respond off a poor performance this year, going 4-0 against the spread in their next game following a double-digit defeat. The Lions are also 7-2 against the number this year in games they were a bigger underdog where they were getting +6 points or more. Tough spot here for Arizona as they have to travel across the country on a short week after playing on Monday night. The Cardinals also may be looking ahead in this one knowing their next two games are against Indianapolis and at Dallas. Take Detroit plus the points. Free NFL Football Prediction From Strike Point Sports:
Take #327 Seattle (+7.5) over Los Angeles Rams (4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 19)
We like the Seahawks in this underdog spot as we fade the Rams off a huge win. Los Angeles did everything they needed to in order to grab a huge divisional win over the Cardinals to tighten up the West race, and we see them slipping a bit in this one in a big letdown spot. Do we see the Rams winning this game? Yes, we do, but this is too many points to be laying. The Seahawks come into this game off two straight wins, and that motivation and momentum will keep this game to 3-4 points. Take the underdog in this matchup as Seattle will put a scare into the Rams off their big Monday Night Football victory. Free NFL Football Prediction From Allen Eastman:
Take #326 Denver (-1.5) over Cincinnati (4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 19)
I will go with the home team in this one. Denver has been getting better as the year has gone on. Cincinnati has been getting worse. Denver is coming off a blowout win over Detroit last week. They also have strong recent home wins over the Chargers and Washington. Cincinnati has lost two straight, and they have lost four of their last six games overall. The numbers suggest that these two offenses are similar. Cincinnati is No. 11 in passing and No. 19 in rushing. Denver is No. 11 in rushing and No. 19 in passing. Denver has the edge with its defense. They are No. 7 in total defense and No. 2 in scoring defense, and that will make the difference in this game. The Bengals are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games in December, and I don’t see them getting a road win here. Take the Broncos.
