AFC Division Finish Best Bets and Predictions

If you're anything like me, then you're probably starting to get drunk off the multitude of seemingly endless lists of NFL futures betting odds. Hey, I'm not complaining. Getting excessively intoxicated can be a lot of fun.
If these betting odds can at least provide some fun and entertainment throughout the regular season, then they're a win. Making money is a bonus.
With that said, the best bets I have for you today offer strong opportunities to win. These are some of my favorite odds and predictions that I've seen and worked with to this point in the NFL futures betting process.
We have odds for the best bets for AFC Division Finishing Position. What this means is that each team has various betting lines for them to finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th in their respective divisions.
As you can imagine, there are some divisions we want to stay away from, as well as certain finishing positions like 2nd or 3rd. Today, in our best bets for AFC division finishing positions, we are avoiding those places altogether.
The AFC East is too heavy at the top with the Buffalo Bills more than 3-1 betting favorites to win it, while I don’t have any of the other three teams even making the playoffs.
Out West, I thought it would behoove us not to split hairs at the top of the division. The bottom, however, is another story, and that's where we may have the best of our best bets for AFC teams' division finishing position.
The top of the AFC South is similar to the West. I like the Houston Texans, but it’s hard to love them. That defense is outstanding, though.

AFC Best Bets for Division Finishing Position
Baltimore Ravens AFC North 1st Place: -160
I wanted to stay away from paying this much juice before the regular season even begins. Still, if you're going to make a bet like that, it's hard to argue against the consistency, continuity, and professionalism of a franchise like the Baltimore Ravens.
They've won the AFC North Division four of the past seven seasons, including the previous two. The team isn't really losing anyone significant, and while I am a bit concerned with the revenge of Joe Burrow, the Bengals haven't really done that much to improve their situation on the defensive side of the ball. Add in the potential of losing Trey Hendrickson to a trade, and their odds slip even more.
The Steelers added Aaron Rodgers, and while this will be interesting, we have to keep it real. My man is pushing 42 years of age. They also lost their best wide receiver, but brought in D.K. Metcalf. There’s a good reason, though, the Seahawks didn’t want to pay the physical specimen. He lost a half a step and wasn’t getting the separation he used to.
Throw some money on the Ravens, but save the majority of your cash for the subsequent two best bets for AFC division finishing position.
Tennessee Titans AFC South 4th Place: +125
The Tennessee Titans had the first overall pick in the draft, and in my opinion, they selected the right guy in Cameron Ward. As a first-year starter, though, we will undoubtedly see some growing pains from the former Miami Hurricane.
The only other threat that I see to last place in the AFC South is the Jacksonville Jaguars. With Trevor Lawrence healthy and an improved offensive line, the offense should be more potent in 2025. This is not to mention the addition of two-way rookie Travis Hunter, complementing Brian Thomas at wideout, and three returning cornerbacks on defense.
Tennessee’s defense is strong against the pass, but they don’t have the weapons or the experience under center to continually take leads into the second halves of games.
The Texans are too talented and the Colts are too well-coached to slip to 4th place.
Las Vegas Raiders AFC West 4th Place: -130
I saved the best for last! Tell me how the Raiders are going to outplay either the Chiefs, Broncos, or Chargers. Please, I would love to know. Unless Maxx Crosby starts playing both ways, I don't see how they could do it.
Will they be a better team with Pete Carroll as the head coach? It’s hard to imagine why not. Does the running game become more dangerous with rookie Ashton Jeanty in the backfield? I would say almost certainly.
It’s the competition, though. This is now the best division in football. The Broncos will be in their second season with Bo Nix and their third with head coach Sean Payton. Their defense is stacked.
The LA Chargers are finally adding depth at wide receiver, and they had the #1 scoring defense in 2024.
Don’t get me wrong. I would love to see the Chiefs finish in last place, but get real. Give me the Raiders to once again occupy the AFC West cellar by season’s end.
