Alan Harris will look to bounce back from a rare losing week on the gridiron with a total of four big plays across his football card. He will have a 7-Unit headliner and is looking at two 6-Unit selections. Alan has been one of the best big play handicappers in the country (24-13, +$6,370 in plays rated 6-Units and higher) and he sees no reason why he won't add to that number this weekend. Harris will also look to stay red hot on both the NCAA hardwood and the NHL frozen pond with a 7-Unit College Basketball Play on Thursday night and a 7-Unit NHL Play that he has had circled for about a week. Throw in his 6-Unit NBA Game of the Month on Thursday along with full CBB, NHL and NBA all week long, and Harris is planning to stack the cash for the next seven days. Strike Point Sports just keeps on cashing in college basketball, starting the season with six consecutive winning weeks. Eastman has exploded in the NFL, banking +$1,720 last week while going 8-4 and reeling off a fantastic 23-10 (70%) NFL run the past four weeks for +$5,200 in profit. Eastman has gone 12-5 with his last 17 plays rated 5.0+ and he has a four-pack of big picks this week in one of his biggest cards of the season. Raphael Esparza has his eyes on a mega holiday run in all sports and this week he will cash tickets in the NFL, college bowl games, college hoops, NBA, and of course the NHL. Esparza is hoping for two out three winning NFL weeks and he is set up with a 6-Unit NFL Play on Christmas Day. Also, Esparza will once again have a play in every bowl game this season - including his 8-Unit College Football Bowl GOTY (next week). College basketball has some great hoop tournaments all week, but Esparza will have a 6-Unit Total on the board on Thursday and he looks for a big weekend. Vernon Croy is on a 63% NHL run over the last 26 days on the ice, and his $100 clients are up +$4,695 dating back to late last season. Free College Basketball Prediction From Robert Ferringo :
Take Siena (+2.5) over Hofstra (7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 22)
I have a feeling that the wrong team is going to be favored in this one. Don't be fooled by Siena's 4-7 record. This is one of the most experienced mid-major teams in the country, and they have played an extremely challenging schedule, with their nonconference SOS in the Top 50. Three of their losses have come by a total of eight points, and if these guys were 7-4 coming into this game they would be -3, at least. No, the Saints haven't been as consistent on either end of the floor as they were last season. But this is basically the same team that went 21-13 overall and 13-7 in Metro play last year. That record included convincing 13-point win over an excellent Hofstra team last December. I think they can do the same on the road here. The Pride haven't been able to replace the stellar production of last year's starting backcourt of Juan'ya Green and Ameen Tanksley. This year's Hofstra team is much less explosive and a lot smaller, with only two guys taller than 6-6 getting minutes. Siena's frontcourt goes 6-10, 6-8, 6-7, so they should be able to control the paint in this one. This will be a close game in the final minutes. The Trojans will be double-digit favorites here, but it is a good bounce-back opportunity for Southern Cal despite still winning over the weekend. However here is a good chance to rebound and put together a more complete showing. The Browns are on the verge of going 0-16! This team hasn't even been close to winning games. The last time they stayed within a touchdown of an opponent was back on Oct. 30. Cleveland is 0-8 ATS in its last eight games and 1-10 ATS in its last 11. The Chargers have lost three straight games. But they have been losing tight games against good teams. Two teams that have been trending to the under will meet when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hit the road to take on the Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, LA, on Saturday afternoon. Tampa has posted a perfect 4-0-1 record to the under in their last five games following an ATS win, and they have gone an excellent 7-2-1 to the under in their last 10 games played in the month of December. They are also 9-4 to the under in their last 13 games where they faced a NFC South Division rival and they have stayed under the number in five of their last six road games where they faced a team with a losing record at home. The Saints have been an under team as well in the spot they are in here on Saturday as they have gone a perfect 7-0 to the under in their last seven games versus a team with a winning record and they have gone under the total in six of their last eight games following a game where they scored 30 points or more. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone a lights out 13-3 to the under in their last 16 head-to-head meetings and that's where we'll have our play as our numbers have both teams struggling a bit to move the ball in The Big Easy on Saturday afternoon. Take 'Over' 5.5 Buffalo at New York Islanders (7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 24)
Earlier in the season we played the Buffalo Sabres UNDER the total quite a bit as they were forced to slow down games and limit overall shots to have a chance to win. But that's all changed as several key offensive players have returned from injury, including star youngster Jack Eichel. The Sabres are getting much better shots on goal over the last couple of weeks and they're only going to get better with their young nucleus. The Islanders have had an awful start to the season, and most of the blame can be put on the team's defense. The Isles are giving up the second most goals per game in the NHL and their goaltenders have yet to find any rhythm. The Blue Raiders are coming off a big home win over FAU and the Raiders threw up 77 points and their offense has been clicking as of late. The Hawaii Warriors defense gives up points at will and on the island the Warriors 'D' has given up an average of 40 ppg in their last 4 games on the island. Hawaii is 5-0 O/U in their last 5 nonconference games and the Warriors are 13-4 O/U in their last 17 games. Middle Tennessee St is 6-1 O/U in their last 7 games, and the Raiders should have no problem scoring on the big island. The Bulldogs were the only 5-7 team to make a bowl game this season, and I expect them to take out the RedHawks in blowout fashion. Teams that made bowl games last year at 5-7 did extremely well, and we expect that trend to continue this year. Miami (OH) also had a strange year, losing six straight games before winning six straight games to close out the regular season. Mississippi State has better talent in all three phases and their up-tempo offense will cause Miami fits all game long. Take #236 North Texas (+10) over Army (Noon, Tuesday, Dec. 27)
This is a big number to cover here for Army. The Black Knights have had a solid season, but they've been overrated throughout most of the year. The biggest evidence of this is the fact they won just 2 of their last 7 games against FBS teams coming into this one. Those two wins also had some question marks next to them as they beat a tired Navy team playing for the eighth straight week in a row and missing their starting quarterback while Army had two extra weeks to prepare for the big rivalry game against the Midshipmen. The Black Knights other win during this stretch came against Wake Forest as Army had to come back in the fourth quarter to steal the win from the Demon Deacons. One of their losses was against this North Texas team that they face off against here in this game as the Mean Green coasted to an easy 35-18 victory over Army.
