The Orange are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against the Tigers, and they should bounce back. This is too many points for the Tigers to lay in their first road game of the year. Syracuse should have a major home-field advantage for this night game. Clemson has gone 1-5 ATS in their last six games in September. Syracuse is 6-2 ATS in its last eight games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record. The Sooners have posted a perfect 5-0 record to the over in their last five games where they faced a team with a losing record, and they have that same 5-0 record in their last five games versus a team from the Pac-12. They have also gone up and over the number in eight of their last 10 games following a straight up win and they are an impressive 21-8 to the over in their last 29 off a straight up win by 20 points or more. The Bruins have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone 5-2 to the over in their last seven home games and they are 12-5 to the over in their last 17 versus a team from the Big 12. Throw in the fact that the Sooners are 13-3-1 to the over in their last 17 overall, and that's where we'll have our play as we expect both teams, especially UCLA, to struggle to get stops in Pasadena on Saturday night. The Green Bay Packers made numerous defensive changes in the off-season and returned a young and talented secondary that was injured extensively last season. The Pack limited Chicago to a mere three points. This has the look of a lower-scoring affair with the total at 45. With this, look to play Under on teams like Green Bay when the total is between 42.5 and 49 points in a conference clash, after going under the total by more than 28 points in their previous game. Take 'Over' 47.5 L.A. Chargers at Detroit (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15)

Expecting fatigue to play a role here in this early-season contest as the Detroit Lions defense ran out of gas last week facing a league-high 82 snaps overall in their game at Arizona. On the other side of things, the LA Chargers defense also played a grueling overtime contest last week as well. Both of these offenses have quarterbacks who can throw the football down the field and who each played well in their season opener last week. The Detroit Lions first-round draft pick, tight end TJ Hockenson, was electric in his first career start with 131 yards receiving against the Cardinals, and he gives the Lions offense a much-needed downfield threat. Hockenson becomes an even bigger issue in this matchup, as the Chargers will once again be without their star safety, Derwin James, in this game. The LA Chargers averaged more than 7 yards per play last week against the Indianapolis Colts, and the Chargers offense was a top six unit last year averaging 27 points per game overall. Free NFL Football Prediction From Robert Ferringo :

Take 'Over' 52.5 Kansas City at Oakland (4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15)

This is a massive number. And as a general rule, I don't like to play 'over' in games with totals this high. However, I don't see how this one isn't a shootout. Kansas City rung up 40 points in its opener at Jacksonville, and they have a much better defense than the Raiders. Last year the Chiefs put up 35 and 40 points in two games against Oakland, I think they can do it again. Oakland's defense played well on Monday against Denver but still gave up a bunch of big plays. The Chiefs defense surrendered 26 points to the Jaguars' weak offense, getting carved up by a rookie quarterback in the process. Derek Carr looked really good against the Denver defense, and I think that he will be able to hang 20 or more on this Chiefs defense. The 'over' is 5-1 in the last six meetings between these two in Oakland. The 'over' is 7-2 in Kansas City's last nine games overall, and the 'over' is 16-5 in their last 21 road games. Smith has been good for the Marlins, especially at home this season. At home this year he is 6-3 3.46 ERA limiting opponents to a .202 batting average. He has also only given up 9 HR at home vs. 19 HR on the road. Neither team has a potent offense, as the Brewers rank No. 21 in runs scored and the Marlins rank No. 29 in runs scored. Not to mention the Marlins rank No. 26 in team batting avg. as they are hitting just .240 as a team. I look for both pitchers to hold these mediocre offenses in check, and this one likely goes under.
