2023 NFL Draft Betting Predictions: Offensive Linemen Odds
Offensive lineman is among the most premier positions in the NFL Draft. Obviously, it’s not valued as high as the quarterback. However, teams often fork up a lot of money to lineman as an investment to protect their franchise QB. This year’s class is a tossup of who could be the first linemen off the board in the 2023 NFL Draft. In recent years, we have seen Super Bowl contenders disintegrate down the stretch without an effective offensive line, most recently the Chiefs in 2020 and the Bengals in 2021. Both teams would have held up the Lombardi Trophy those years if they had better line play. Teams projected to draft offensive linemen in the first round include the Seattle Seahawks, Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers.

OL Favorites Analysis for the 2023 NFL Draft
Paris Johnson Jr. (-150)
At 6-foot-6, 315 pounds, Johnson is praised for his footwork and blocking. He came out of high school as a consensus five-star prospect. He started out playing inside at guard and then moved to tackle in 2022. NFL owners have said he is a prototypical offensive tackle for the modern NFL and hailed as a future starter at left tackle, not something given to every tackle coming out of college. Johnson has met most recently with the Steelers, Packers, and Bucs at the Combine, although all three teams would have to trade up to land the stud lineman from Ohio State.
Peter Skoronski (+160)
Skoronski looks like a custom-built NFL offensive lineman. He is a tank upfront, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 313 pounds. He earned all-Big Ten honors three straight seasons at Northwestern, named the league’s top lineman, and has caught the eyes of many NFL scouts. Praised for his technique and versatility, the most important characteristic is his football IQ. The NFL rumor mill says there is a huge possibility that whoever drafts Skoronski will move him inside to guard. The Falcons and Steelers have shown a ton of interest in the Northwestern product.
Broderick Jones (+500)
Jones is the last of the “Big Three” of offensive lineman in the 2023 draft. He stands at 6-foot-4 and is an athletic freak at tackle. He played football and basketball in high school and was hailed as a top three tackle recruit. He started at left tackle on both of Georgia’s National Championship seasons. The New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Kansas City Chiefs have shown the most interest heading into the draft. Don’t expect him to make it into the second half of the first round.
Darnell Wright (+1200)
Wright was a five-star recruit coming out of high school and had a slow start to his collegiate career. He had a total of 16 starts as a true freshman and sophomore seasons combined and was very inconsistent. It all started to click for him in his junior year and carried over into his senior season. His senior film showed him to be an ascending prospect for NFL teams. At 6-foot-5 and 333 pounds, his skills are highlighted by athleticism, power, and balance. The Detroit Lions are heavily linked to Wright in the middle of the first round.
Anton Harrison (+2500)
Harrison is one of the best handful of offensive tackle prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft. A native of the Washington D.C. area, he was a four-star recruit out of high school. He played a backup role his freshmen year before solidifying a starting position at left tackle his sophomore and junior campaigns. He was named as a First-Team All-Big 12 member last year. At 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds, scouts have praised his hand technique and footwork ahead of the draft.
