2025 PGA Picks: FedEx St. Jude Championship Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 8/6/2025
Some of you may be counting down the weeks until the respective college and pro football seasons kick off, and I get it. I'm right with you. There are plenty of good times ahead and arguments with the spouses to be had when their idea of Sunday Fun-Day doesn't exactly line up with yours.
2025 PGA Picks: Rocket Mortgage Classic Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 6/24/2025
Sunday was a shame for England's Tommy Fleetwood. He's now winless in 64 tries at PGA Tour regular events. The Brit just couldn't close the show. We're just a few sentences in, and we have something to note already. You can be a great golfer, nearly elite, and not be a winner.
2025 PGA Picks: Travelers Championship Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 6/18/2025
Unless you were on JJ Spaun to win the US Open at 150-1, then you’re likely more than happy to move along to the next tournament. Before we move on, though. What Spaun was able to do was incredible. He was the only golfer who finished even par or better at (-1), winning his first PGA Tour major at the age of 34.
PGA Picks: 2025 US Open Golf Predictions with Betting Odds
by Mike Allen - 6/11/2025
It’s major week for the PGA Tour, our third of the year, as the best golfers in the world descend upon Oakmont, Pennsylvania, for the 125th playing of the US Open. World #1 Scottie Scheffler is perched at the top of the betting board, but with juicy odds, for him at least, at better than 7-1. He was (+450) just a month ago at the PGA Championship. His PGA Tour mate, Rory McIlroy, is a couple of spots down at 15-1. We are used to seeing him ahead of even LIV studs Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau by a decent margin. However, those two will have shorter betting odds to win this week's US Open.
2025 PGA Picks: RBC Canadian Open Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 6/4/2025
Still a week away, fans of the PGA Tour are anxiously anticipating the third major tournament of the year, the US Open, but first, the RBC Canadian Open. We don't have a loaded field this week north of the border. Last week's winner at The Memorial, Scottie Scheffler, will not be in attendance, but the undisputed #2 in the world, Rory McIlroy, takes his place atop the betting board with odds short of 5-1.
2025 PGA Picks: The Memorial Tournament Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 5/28/2025
Memorial Day has come and gone. I hope everyone's Summer got off to a great start. The Memorial, however, goes down this week at the majestic Muirfield Village. Dublin, Ohio, isn't exactly Pebble Beach on the Monterey Peninsula, but it's one of the most respected and revered courses in the world. More on Muirfield Village in a moment.
2025 PGA Picks: Charles Schwab Challenge Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 5/21/2025
We almost picked up a second win in the past three weeks with Bryson DeChambeau. The man from Modesto had the lead on Saturday. However, after losing three strokes over two holes, it was all the World #1 needed to take a comfortable lead into his Sunday cruise to the clubhouse. Scottie Scheffler proved to us all, once again, why he is the undisputed #1 golfer in the world. I was one of those guys saying that Rory was catching up with him, but the more we see from Scheffler, the more the truth becomes undeniable.
2025 PGA Championship Golf Predictions with Odds and Expert Picks
by Mike Allen - 5/14/2025
We are barely a month removed from the conclusion of The Masters, where we saw one of the game’s greats, Rory McIlroy, don his first Green Jacket. This win completed golf’s Grand Slam, as McIlroy has hoisted the trophy at all four major events. The Northern Islander is properly poised to add to the list of his majors this week as the PGA Championship will be held in one of my favorite cities, charming Charlotte, North Carolina.
2025 PGA Picks: The CJ Cup Byron Nelson Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 4/30/2025
After a week off from official PGA play, the Tour returns this week with The CJ Cup Byron Nelson. This tournament has been held at multiple courses over the years, but the previous four have all been held down in the Dallas area, just outside of Plano in McKinney, Texas, at the TPC Craig Ranch course.
PGA Picks: The Genesis Invitational Expert Predictions and Golf Odds
by Mike Allen - 2/12/2025
As we finally sweat out our Super Bowl hangovers, the PGA Tour wraps up its West Coast Swing with the second trip in just three weeks to Torrey Pines for the Tiger Woods-sponsored Genesis Invitational. Harris English, the winner of this year’s Farmers Insurance Open, where they played on the North and South Courses at Torrey Pines, will be in the field. He’s also the defending champion of this tournament, the Genesis Invitational.
2025 PGA Picks: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 1/28/2025
This week, as we await Super Bowl LIX, sports fans will be treated to the Pebble Beach Pro/Am from one of the most beautiful areas in the country, Carmel Bay, in Northern California. This tournament started way back in 1937 when it was known as the Bing Crosby Pro/Am.
PGA Picks: The American Express Golf Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 1/14/2025
In this case, aloha means goodbye for the PGA Tour after we've completed the first two tournaments of the year in the 50th, and the most beautiful State of the Union. This week, the Tour tees off the famous West Coast Swing in the Coachella Valley, specifically sunny La Quinta, California, with the third tournament of 2025, The American Express.
2025 PGA Picks: Sony Open Expert Betting Predictions and Odds
by Mike Allen - 1/8/2025
The first PGA Tour event of 2025, the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Maui, is in the books. Japan's Hideki Matsuyama broke the PGA Tour record for the lowest score in a 72-hole tournament with his tremendous 35 under-par performance at Kapalua. He broke Cameron Smith’s record of -34. Granted, that was just three years ago on the same course.
2025 PGA Picks: Sentry Tournament of Champions Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 12/31/2024
I'd like to know if the PGA will play the opening round of the Tournament of Champions on New Year's Day in 2026. However, many may be surprised to see golf on their television screens on January 2. It comes at the perfect time, because the postseason in the NFL hasn't started, and the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff wrap up the night prior.
2024 PGA Picks: ZOZO Championship Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 10/22/2024
The FedEx Cup Fall wastes no time this week as we travel from Las Vegas all the way to Tokyo Bay. Yes, on the other side of the planet in Narashino, Japan, for the ZOZO Championship. There aren't just Asian golfers participating, either. Americans Xander Shauffele and Justin Thomas are in the field. California's Collin Morikawa is the defending champion at the ZOZO Championship. Japan's own and former winner here, Hideki Matsuyama, is playing his best golf of 2024 and will be in the field.
2024 PGA Picks: Shriners Children’s Open Odds and Expert Betting Predictions
by Mike Allen - 10/15/2024
The first three tournaments of the FedEx Cup Fall didn't disappoint. I understand a big reason for that is the low expectations. There's a priceless life lesson for you, and we just got started. Ditch the expectations whenever possible. The previous three and subsequent five PGA Tour events make up the FedEx Cup Fall, and it's essentially an opportunity for the Tour to shift to a near complete year-round schedule. The biggest opportunities, however, will be for the golfers in the respective fields.
PGA Props Picks: Black Desert Championship Predictions
by Mike Allen - 10/8/2024
Hey, the FedEx Cup Fall is off to a warm start with our cashing of Lucas Glover to finish inside the top 20 at (+275). He finished one stroke back over 72 holes and eventually tied for 3rd as Kevin Yu defeated Beau Hossler in a playoff. This week, we make our way north of Las Vegas to the charming town of St. George, Utah. More often than not, serving as a gateway to Zion and other nearby National Parks, St. George has become a golfing haven. The Black Desert Championship lives up to its name, as you can see the aged volcanic soot-stained mountains in the distance from all over the course.
PGA Props Picks: Sanderson Farms Predictions
by Mike Allen - 10/1/2024
You won't see world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler in the field this week, nor will you hear Xander Schauffele's name. There is no Rory McIlroy. That's alright, though. Anytime Scheffler shows up, he has a chance to steal a victory away from us. Also, betting on him at barely 3-1 odds isn't the answer, either. We may have to lean on some of the few PGA Tour regulars in the field this week, as trying to sort through all the young talent is futile.
PGA Props Picks: Presidents Cup Predictions
by Mike Allen - 9/25/2024
Golf's Presidents Cup is often forgotten about by American sports fans due to the excitement of college and pro football, as the competition has been played in mid or late September ever since the inaugural event in 1994. As you may know, this is truly the Presidents Cup. Every two years, the Americans faced off against the International Team over four rounds. However, this year, we will see five rounds of play over four days.
PGA Props Picks: TOUR Championship Predictions
by Mike Allen - 8/27/2024
We have made it! Thank you for sticking with us this far. The 2024 FedEx Cup PGA Tour Championship is this weekend. Last week was the BMW Championship, where we saw a strange withdrawal from Hideki Matsuyama that made several future winning ticket holders of the Japanese star cry. This tournament felt good from a betting perspective, as we had faded Ludvig Aberg for weeks in a row only to play him hard to win a group including Scheffler and Schauffele at the BMW.
