Week 11 NFL Odds - Lookahead Lines - Picks & Best Bet Predictions
Wow, so after the coldest start in the history of betting on the NFL for the public, they have put together yet another winning slate in Week 9. Favorites were 14-1 straight up and 10-5 against the spread. Over the past five weeks, teams that have closed as betting favorites are 64% ATS.
The public, in particular, was 41% ATS over the first five weeks of the NFL season. Over the past three weeks, however, they’ve been better than ever at 63%.
What do we expect in Week 10? I have a few leans. We take those and use them to potentially get ahead of some line movement.
That's what these lookahead lines are all about. They have betting limits, but it's not likely to affect the majority of us.
Week 9's action went well. We had the Chargers and Commanders to cover, and they both did with relative ease. We did, however, get burned by taking the Bears over the Cardinals. That came before the hail mary vs. Washington that, at least temporarily, broke the spirit of this team.
I’ll take two out of three any day. Our lookahead lines best bets for Week 10 are the Lions (-2.5) at Houston. The line is now (-3.5) for Detroit. This is a perfect example of the best kind of positive expected value because it crossed the key number of 3.
Our other two plays are totals for the Dolphins vs Rams and Steelers vs Commanders games. We are currently +1 EV on each over bet. Maybe we win, and maybe we don't, but you'll make money in the long term by just getting ahead of the line.

NFL Week 11 Lookahead Lines Best Bets
Indianapolis Colts (+3.5) at New York Jets (-3.5) Total: 43.5
(Nov 17th at 1:00 PM East Rutherford, NJ)
After witnessing the healthy and refreshed Indianapolis Colts defense pressure Sam Darnold more than he’s seen all year, I love Indy this week and next week as well. This is a huge game for both teams in the Wild Card race, almost a must-win for both.
Darnold is one of the best in the league at quickly scanning the field and going through his reads. However, he is a statue in the pocket, and the pass rush up the middle for Indy was elite.
Do you know who else is a statue? Aaron Rodgers. The Jets and the Vikings are similar teams, but the coaching divide resembles the Grand Canyon.
I think New York underperforms this week after their best game of the year, and the Colts overperform after their worst offensive day of the season. That might move the line down to 3 or even 2.5. Take the Colts now at (+3.5).
Pick: Indianapolis Colts (+3.5)
Baltimore Ravens (-3.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers Odds (+3.5) Total: 45
(Nov 17th at 1:00 PM Pittsburgh, PA)
This one is self-explanatory. You want Mike Tomlin as a home underdog, and if it's a division game, even better. Russell Wilson has completely changed the Pittsburgh offense, and the Steelers match up well stylistically with Baltimore, too.
This week, I like the Steelers to win outright in Washington, and Baltimore may lose too, playing a desperate Bengals team with revenge on their minds.
Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5)
Minnesota Vikings (-6) at Tennessee Titans Odds (+6) Total: 42
(Nov 17th at 1:00 PM Nashville, TN)
The Tennessee Titans had a little bit of hope at the beginning of the season due to their defense, Will Levis’s strong arm, and a solid receiving corps. Well, Levis blew a couple of games, the offense continued to sputter, the defense finally tired, and they’ve since traded DeAndre Hopkins to the Chiefs.
This looks like a whipping boy spot for Tennessee, and this line could move north of a touchdown with the Titans playing the surging Bolts. Minnesota will probably hold serve against the Jags, but you never know with Jacksonville. I like the bet, and it will likely go up. Take Minnesota now.
Pick: Minnesota Vikings (-6)
