2026 Green Bay Packers Predictions with Best Bets and Odds to Win the Super Bowl

The Green Bay Packers are getting used to life with Jordan Love under center as the 27-year-old has led Green Bay to three straight playoff appearances. Back-to-back Wild Card exits with no home playoff games since Aaron Rodgers means there is still plenty of work to be done, but this team seamlessly transitioned from one era to the next. The next hill for Green Bay to climb is an NFC North title with a deep playoff run, and expectations are once again high heading into the year.

Green Bay Packers Offseason Recap
The Green Bay Packers had a relatively quiet offseason with most of their moves coming from within. On offense, they lost backup quarterbacks Malik Willis and Desmond Ridder, with the former inking a long-term deal with the Dolphins. Tyrod Taylor was signed as their backup, but the 37-year-old is far past his underwhelming prime. At receiver, the Packers had incredible depth last year but lost some of that in the offseason. Romeo Doubs signed with the New England Patriots as a free agent, while the Packers traded Dontayvion Wicks to the Eagles for a pair of late draft picks. The offensive losses didn’t end there, as starting linemen Elgton Jenkins and Rasheed Walker are also both off the Packers' books. They didn’t sign any big names to replace their departing talent, but the Packers will still be optimistic that they have enough talent around Love to contend.
On defense, the Packers are looking to build a dominant front seven. Micah Parsons racked up 12.5 sacks in 14 games before getting hurt last season, and he will now get to play alongside Javon Hargrave when he returns. Hargrave is a great run-stopper in the middle of the defensive line, having spent several excellent seasons with the Steelers and Eagles. He is a scale-shattering 307 pounds of pure muscle at 6-foot-2, and will likely make an immediate impact with the offense distracted by Parsons. Parsons won’t be ready for Week 1, but he should be back midway through October for the second two-thirds of the season. In the secondary, Green Bay added Benjamin St-Juste from the Los Angeles Chargers, who will likely take over for a majority of snaps as the season goes on. St-Juste struggled in Washington early in his career but had a solid 2025 season with the Chargers.
Green Bay Packers Season Expectations
The Packers have only missed the playoffs eight times since 1992, reaching the NFC Championship Game more often in that span. Consistent success is the only option in Green Bay, and the Packers are once again expected to make the playoffs this season. Love had the best season of his career in 2025, throwing 23 touchdowns to just six interceptions to claim a 101.2 quarterback rating. He had the joint-fewest interceptions among quarterbacks who played at least 15 games, prioritizing ball security over forcing passes into tight windows.
Even with the Packers' departures, they still have a strong offense. Josh Jacobs has been one of the most consistent running backs over the last five years, while a trio of receivers in Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Matthew Golden gives Love no shortage of targets to aim at. They haven’t quite been able to deliver when it matters most, but the talent at the skill positions is far from lacking.
On defense, the Packers were an average unit and will likely be floating between the 10th and 20th positions again this year. They gave up the 11th-fewest PPG with 21.7 allowed, and really thrived at taking away the big plays. However, that was offset by just 14 takeaways, the lowest among any team that made the playoffs. It remains to be seen how the absence of Parsons will impact this unit as a whole, but it certainly won’t be positive.
2026 Green Bay Packers Schedule Breakdown
The Packers have the third-toughest schedule when looking at the 2025 win percentages, but the story gets a bit better considering they have a middle-of-the-pack schedule based on 2026 expected win percentages. Some of their 2026 opponents like the Vikings (x2), Patriots, and Bears (x2) are expected to take a step back, which could be the difference for a team battling to make the playoffs. Their Week 11 bye is at an ideal point in the season, and they have the privilege of hosting four of their final five games at Lambeau Field. Green Bay in December and January is never easy for their opponents, and the Packers will be hoping their back-heavy schedule gets them over the line.
2026 Green Bay Packers Odds
The Green Bay Packers are expected to flirt with a playoff spot as they have -130 odds to make and +100 odds to miss the postseason. However, the odds have them destined for a fourth consecutive playoff appearance as a Wild Card team, as they still trail the Lions with juicy +240 odds to win the NFC North. Their win total is set at 9.5 wins, meaning they will probably need a double-digit total if they hope to play meaningful January football. If the Packers do make the playoffs, they have +1000 odds to win the NFC, tied for the fifth shortest, and +1800 odds to win the Super Bowl.
Looking at the individual awards, Jordan Love is just outside the top-ten with +2000 odds to win the MVP, while Micah Parsons is a sky-high +6500 to win Defensive Player of the Year. Love’s odds make sense, while the ACL injury that will keep Parsons out for the first few weeks has removed the perennial favorite from the top of the list.
2026 Green Bay Packers Season Predictions and Best Bets
I have been a non-believer in Jordan Love and the Packers before, but I finally expect to be right that this is the year they fail to make the playoffs. They lost four or five offensive starters in the offseason and did little to replace them; they didn't have any impactful picks in the draft, and have a relatively difficult schedule compared to years past. I simply don’t see how the Packers reach 10+ wins this season, especially with Parsons missing the start of the season. There is nothing to get excited about compared to last year with this team, making under 9.5 wins the first pick to make.
For the second pick, and my favorite of the bunch, we will take an alternate win total with the Packers under 7.5 wins at +260 odds. Green Bay will fight hard to the end of the season since they don't have their 2027 first-round pick, but there is no guarantee this team is hovering around .500 at the midway point of the year. I could easily see Green Bay starting the season 3-4 or 2-5 before Parsons returns, and they would need to be nearly perfect in the second half if that is the case. I like taking plus money on season-long futures, making the alternative win total the strong pick.
Finally, I can’t stop myself from sprinkling on Parsons DPOY at +6500. I know he will miss the start of the year, but he is too talented to have odds like these. If there are no contenders in the opening month, and recency bias gets Parsons in the mainstream media headlines down the stretch, he could sneak his way to this award. We aren’t looking for a slam dunk play with odds like these, but I think it is safe to say he has at least a 2% chance of coming back with vengeance. Don’t go crazy, but a small sprinkle here makes sense.
Pick: Green Bay Packers Under 9.5 Wins -110
Top Pick: Green Bay Packers Under 7.5 Wins +260
Pick: Micah Parsons Defensive Player of the Year +6500
