NFL Office Pool Picks Week 7 - ATS Predictions for Every Game!

You have found the right place for your Week 7 NFL picks against the spread, as Doc’s Sports will be providing free picks all season long. There are 272 regular season games each season, which means one bad beat or lucky bounce won’t make or break our season. We have the time and ability to bounce back from a bad showing, like our 4-10 performance in Week 6. Four teams are on bye again in Week 7, giving us 14 matchups to comb over. Let’s dive in.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
New England Patriots (+3) Over Chicago Bears
These two Super Bowl hopefuls face off on Thursday night with plenty to play for. Both teams came out of the gates slowly, but now have a combined 5-1 record in the month of October. What makes the Patriots the scarier team is that they have done all this winning without A.J. Brown contributing. Drake Maye has spread the ball nicely on offense, and a strong New England run defense will force Caleb Williams into plenty of third-and-longs. Maybe Williams and the Bears can pull off another comeback, but more often than not, a well-drilled Patriots team escapes Chicago with a win. The spread is just a bonus. Patriots 27, Bears 24
Pittsburgh Steelers (-3) Over New Orleans Saints
I was a little hesitant to buy into the Steelers with an aging Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, but the future Hall of Famer continues to ball out. He’s thrown 12 touchdowns in the first six games of the season, and a helpless Saints defense will be able to do little to slow him down. On the other side of the ball, the Steelers defense is not the mighty unit it once was, but it is still a top-half unit. New Orleans has really struggled to run the ball this year, and with Tyler Shough slumping, it is hard to find many advantages for the Saints. Steelers 20, Saints 9
Cincinnati Bengals (+2.5) Over Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens have struggled to put points on the board with Tyler Huntley at quarterback, and it is looking increasingly likely that Lamar Jackson will be unable to suit up again in Week 7. That leaves a potent Bengals offense that has had an extra week to prepare for this one with a serious advantage. We know Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense are usually good for at least 27 points, but can we say the same about the Ravens? Their offensive line is crumbling, and now that the Bengals are no longer a bottom-five defense, they will pull off a minor upset in this AFC North battle. Bengals 30, Ravens 23
Cleveland Browns (-1.5) Over Tennessee Titans
The Browns have proven themselves to be dangerous on defense, and this is a recipe for disaster for Cam Ward. Ward got his first win of the season last week, but this defensive front is a much tougher lock to pick. Cleveland will send pressure early and often, and could even arguably have the better offense compared to the Titans. Other than this one being in Tennessee, the Browns have all the advantages. Browns 20, Titans 10
Minnesota Vikings (-6.5) Over Indianapolis Colts
The Vikings are perfect on the season while the Colts just lost to the previously winless Tennessee Titans. Indianapolis is now 2-11 in their last 13 games dating back to last season, and it is hard to imagine this one staying competitive. The Vikings defense is the best unit in the league, and they now have extra rest coming off their bye. The only question is whether or not the Vikings offense can put up enough points to cover this spread, but when they hold the Colts to single digits, they should get over the line. Vikings 17, Colts 6
New York Jets (-4.5) Over Miami Dolphins
Fade the Dolphins at all costs. Miami hasn’t led for a single second yet this season, yet Malik Willis has still only thrown two touchdown passes. The Jets defense will eat him alive in Week 7, and a serviceable Geno Smith will take care of the rest. The hot seat is warming up for Aaron Glenn, and I expect the Jets to secure a much needed victory over Miami, probably by double digits. Jets 27, Dolphins 13
New York Giants (+10.5) Over Houston Texans
The Giants sit on top of the NFC East right now, but the vibes are at an all-time low. Meanwhile, Houston is 2-4 on the season, but genuinely believes they can make a playoff push after starting 0-4. The Texans deserve to be favored in this matchup, but a double digit point spread feels a bit ambitious. Four of the Texans’ six games this season have finished within five or fewer points, and while they probably win this one, they won’t cover the spread. Texans 23, Giants 17
San Francisco 49ers (-3.5) Over Atlanta Falcons
This spread is suspiciously short. The undefeated 49ers have dominated in nearly every aspect of the game, and even with a growing injury report, they still shouldn’t have any problems against Atlanta. The Falcons lack the consistency to tangle with the Super Bowl favorites for all four quarters, and a few lapses in judgment will allow San Francisco to pull away. The Falcons have been so inconsistent that they could win by 20, but they probably lose by double digits instead. 49ers 28, Falcons 17
Carolina Panthers (-3.5) Over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers are one more loss away from the wheels really falling off this franchise, and it comes at the hands of their division rival. Carolina’s offense has been able to outscore any defensive issues this year, and it is not as if the Buccaneers put up much of a challenge on either side of the ball. Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker look like future stars in the NFL, while the Buccaneers are desperately trying to hold on to the core of their magical Super Bowl run from years ago. Time to clean house, and an embarrassing loss to Carolina speeds up that process. Panthers 40, Buccaneers 12
Denver Broncos (-4.5) Over Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals upset the Rams last week with six field goals and no touchdowns, but that is not a recipe for sustained success. Denver’s defense is unrelenting in the middle of the field, which will make it incredibly difficult for the Cardinals to consistently move the sticks. Denver knows how to grind out ugly wins, and this spread is just short enough that we can lay the points. Denver is due for a big win, and this is exactly the type of opponent it can come against. Big for their standards at least. Broncos 24, Cardinals 14
Detroit Lions (-3.5) Over Green Bay Packers
This is a crucial battle in the NFC North, and I am not quite ready to buy into the Packers just yet. Green Bay hasn’t looked very impressive in the run game this year, ranking last in yards, and the return of Josh Jacobs will not suddenly get them back on track. The Lions can put up points in a hurry, especially at home, and a 40-burger on the Packers is well within reach. Detroit’s secondary will allow a few explosive plays, but the Lions offense will power them to a much-needed win and cover. Lions 41, Packers 33
Los Angeles Rams (-4.5) Over Las Vegas Raiders
The Rams are starting to look like the 2010 San Diego Chargers. They have been excellent on both sides of the ball, but special teams mistakes continue to haunt them. They have a very winnable matchup against the Raiders to try and get their season back on track, and I am calling for an emphatic victory in Las Vegas. Matthew Stafford still has it, there are countless weapons on offense, and the Rams defense will step up against a struggling Raiders offense. The hot start for Las Vegas was nothing more than a mirage, as the Raiders get thoroughly beaten in front of their home crowd in Week 7. Rams 35, Raiders 10
Kansas City Chiefs (+2.5) Over Seattle Seahawks
The undefeated Chiefs are in the underdog role against the reigning Super Bowl champions. Get your popcorn. Kansas City has looked excellent on offense this year with Kenneth Walker III unlocking their run game, and this looks like a matchup that goes down to the wire. Sam Darnold is starting to look shaky with the turnovers piling up, and that will not fly against the Chiefs. We will take every point we can get on the spread, but you could even argue the Chiefs deserve to be favored in this one. Chiefs 24, Seahawks 20
Philadelphia Eagles (+4.5) Over Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas defense has been a disaster all year, and now their offense is drying up too. The Eagles have plenty of problems of their own to worry about, but this spread is a little bit disrespectful for the home team in a divisional matchup. Philadelphia’s defense is starting to wake up, and a visit from the Cowboys could be exactly what they needed to get back on track. Dallas is the healthier side and probably does enough to win, but covering the spread will be a different story. Cowboys 20, Eagles 17
