As we enter Week 13 of the National Football League season, we are now two-thirds done the regular season. And to say it has gone by quickly would be an understatement. We’ve seen everything from blowouts to blown leads, season-ending injuries, poor officiating and questionable calls to unbelievable plays on both offense and defense. The race for the playoffs is officially in full swing, and the Super Bowl futures are as murky as ever. It’s been a rather unfortunate week for the NFL in terms of publicity. First, we got word of Derrick Henry’s injury that will keep him out for the remainder of the season. Henry was the NFL’s leading rusher and was well on his way to winning his second rushing title in as many years. Then we got word of Aaron Rodgers and his positive COVID test, which will keep him out for at least this week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Week 8 was a really fun one. Not only did we see one of the most climactic/anti-climactic wins of the year when the Green Bay Packers picked off Kyler Murray in the end zone when future hall of famer A.J. We are through two weeks of NFL action, and it’s imperative to realize that teams are not as good or as bad as their record indicates. Teams like Kansas City, Buffalo, Pittsburgh Seattle, Tennessee, Green Bay, are all 1-1, while teams like Las Vegas, Carolina, and Denver are 2-0. Not many people would have predicted that to start the season, which is why it’s critical to take the first two week’s results with a grain of salt.
