NFL Office Pool Picks Week 10 - Every Game Picked ATS!
The NFL standings have begun to take shape, as we head into the 10th week of the season. Last week, we had our worst week of the year going 4-10 ATS. There were several close calls, as we lost by the hook in 3 separate games. We move on to Week 10, and there are several close matchups with 8 of the 14 games coming in with a spread of 3 points or less.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
Carolina Panthers (+4) Over Chicago Bears
The NFL is giving us a real treat on Thursday night, pitting the 1-7 Panthers against the 2-7 Bears. Bryce Young may have his flaws, and his lackluster offensive scheme isn’t doing him any favors, but there isn’t a world where I’ll be laying 4 points with the Bears. A low scoring punt-heavy game is on the cards, and these 4 points will almost certainly come into play. Panthers 14, Bears 13
Indianapolis Colts (-1.5) Over New England Patriots
The Colts are just 1.5-point favorites over the free-falling Patriots, and their potent offense will not be stopped. Gardner Minshew is responsible in the pocket and will not give New England any short fields. Can Mac Jones be trusted to go toe to toe with any competent NFL team? I don’t think so. Colts by double digits in Germany. Colts 28, Patriots 13
Cleveland Browns (+6) Over Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens are rolling, bringing a 4-game win streak into this matchup. However, the Browns defense is one of, if not the best defensive unit in the league. Myles Garrett and a stellar defensive line will make Lamar Jackson uncomfortable in the pocket, And if he throws up any 50/50 balls, the Browns secondary will happily scoop up free interceptions. Six points is a lot to be laying against the Browns with a healthy Deshaun Watson under center. Ravens 17, Browns 14
Pittsburgh Steelers (-3) Over Green Bay Packers
The Steelers find ways to win games, while Jordan Love finds new and creative ways to throw games away. Pittsburgh is in the thick of the AFC North battle and will be desperately trying to avoid losing ground in the Wild Card race. They still have plenty to play for, including maintaining Mike Tomlin’s streak of winning seasons, and a lifeless Packers team will be their next victim. Steelers 23, Packers 16
Houston Texans (+7) Over Cincinnati Bengals
CJ Stroud is on pace to put together the best rookie season in the league since Dak Prescott, having set the record for passing yards by a rookie with 470 against the Buccaneers. The Bengals have their own reasons for optimism, but this will be a spot they take their opponents lightly, with the Ravens and Steelers on their horizon. Joe Burrow’s quality will result in a Bengals victory, but in a back-and-forth 4th quarter, the Bengals fail to get the cover. Bengals 31, Texans 27
Minnesota Vikings (+2.5) Over New Orleans Saints
Will Joshua Dobbs play hero every week in Minnesota? Probably not. However, at home, the wrong team is favored here. The Saints offense is far too inconsistent to warrant this kind of spread, and with the return of Justin Jefferson imminent, the Vikings will be buoyant in this matchup. A strong Saints defense has been able to compensate for some questionable Derek Carr throws, but against a hungry and motivated Vikings unit, the Saints will fall short in a winnable game once again this season. Vikings 27, Saints 21
San Francisco 49ers (-3) Over Jacksonville Jaguars
The 49ers bye week couldn’t have come at a better time, after they had won 5 straight to start the year, before dropping their next 3 games. Laying points on the road against a capable Jaguars team is always risky, but the 49ers will come into this game knowing they cannot afford to extend their losing streak. Jacksonville is sitting pretty atop the AFC South, and a little bit of complacency will be the difference on Sunday. 49ers 30, Jaguars 20
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-1) Over Tennessee Titans
Baker Mayfield will need to right the ship in Tampa Bay if they are to remain in the hunt for the NFC South crown. The Titans got a promising start from Will Levis. And now that he has been named the starter for the foreseeable future, he will be able to settle into his new role. However, the Buccaneers still have quality Super Bowl level players on their roster from the Tom Brady days, and with the Buccaneers season on the line, they’ll find a way to win. Buccaneers 20, Titans 17
Atlanta Falcons (-1.5) Over Arizona Cardinals
The possible return of Kyler Murray has kept this spread short, but quarterback is not the only issue for a disjointed Cardinals squad. The budding signal caller will certainly make them better, but there are still too many holes for Taylor Heinicke and a Falcons team with serious playoff hopes to exploit. A punishing run game carries them to victory. Falcons 20, Cardinals 12
Detroit Lions (-2.5) Over LA Chargers
The Lions are in search of a coveted playoff position, and a win over LA would set them up nicely for the final weeks of the season. The Chargers defense will need to prove they can stop capable offenses before we can buy into them. And after a nice showing on Monday Night Football, this is the perfect time to fade them. The Lions 6th ranked passing attack will demolish the 32nd ranked Chargers passing defense, and Justin Herbert will not be able to do enough to get the win. Lions 28, Chargers 21
Dallas Cowboys (-16) Over New York Giants
The biggest spread of the week, and one of the biggest spreads of the season, is absolutely warranted. The Cowboys are coming off a tight loss against the Eagles and will use the Giants as their punching bag to restore morale. Daniel Jones is out for the season, Tyrod Taylor remains sidelined, forcing New York to turn to Tommy Devito at quarterback. This spread could be taken care of by halftime, and it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see another 40-0 drubbing like we saw in Week 1. Cowboys 31, Giants 6
Washington Commanders (+6) Over Seattle Seahawks
Washington traded away their star pass rushers, but still managed to beat the Patriots thanks to improved play from their offensive line. A potent Seattle pass rush will make Sam Howell uncomfortable, but the young rookie has shown enough poise to navigate the incoming sacks. Seattle gets a much-needed victory, but the Commanders do enough with a backdoor cover to stay within a touchdown. Seahawks 24, Commanders 21
New York Jets (-1.5) Over Las Vegas Raiders
The Jets got embarrassed on Monday Night Football last week, but they will find joy in their second consecutive primetime game. Their defense can usually keep them within striking distance regardless of the opponent. And while the Raiders new head coach started off his career with a win, he’ll be handed his first loss in front of the nation. Zach Wilson loves to prove the doubters wrong, and a 2 touchdown, 250 passing yard showing will do just that. Jets 24, Raiders 15
Denver Broncos (+7.5) Over Buffalo Bills
The Bills do not deserve to be touchdown favorites over anyone considering their form in recent weeks. Denver is coming off their bye, and the vibes were high in the clubhouse after finally snapping their losing streak over Kansas City. Desperation will allow the Bills to edge out a win, but unless Buffalo is up 16+ points in the final minutes, this cover will always be a possibility. Bills 30, Broncos 24
