NFL Office Pool Picks Week 16 - ATS Predictions for Every Game!

There are three weeks left in the NFL regular season, and time is running out to make a late dash up your against-the-spread office pool standings. Last week was a season-defining week for some teams, while others fell short of expectations. The favorites went 10-6 straight up, and 9-7 against the spread, with the Seahawks being the only favorite to win and not cover… against Philip Rivers. We went 6-10 against the spread last week, with two teams failing to cover by a single point. We need a big week here to get back on track, so let’s dive right into the Week 16 picks against the spread.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
Seattle Seahawks (+1) Over Los Angeles Rams
The best game of the week goes down on Thursday night, and with basically no spread, this is expected to be a very tight affair. The edge goes to Seattle in this one. They are at home, on a four-game win streak, and have the healthier squad for Week 16. Losing Devante Adams will limit a potent Rams offense, while the Seattle defense continues to step up week after week. The #1 seed in the NFC is on the line, and the Seahawks will snatch it with a crucial home win. Seahawks 23, Rams 19
Philadelphia Eagles (-6.5) Over Washington Commanders
Washington snapped their eight-game losing skid with a win over the Giants last week, but they now face a much tougher task against the Eagles. Philadelphia has its flaws, but they have still won five of the last six games against Washington, which has just shut down Jayden Daniels for the season. The Commanders’ defensive deficiencies mean this one could get out of hand in a hurry. Eagles 33, Commanders 17
Chicago Bears (+1.5) Over Green Bay Packers
Losing Micah Parsons really hurts this Packers defense, and I don’t think they should be in the road favorite role against a team like Chicago. The NFC North is on the line in this game, and we have no choice but to side with the healthier squad at home. Chicago’s offense is firing on all cylinders, its defense is above average, and they will edge out a close one in a tantalizing Saturday night showdown. Bears 27, Packers 23
Dallas Cowboys (-2) Over Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers can all but clinch a playoff spot with a win here, but I don’t expect the Cowboys to roll over at this stage of the season. Dallas’s playoff hopes have all but evaporated, but they are still playing solid football on offense. The Chargers can’t be trusted to run up the score given their issues at the offensive line, making the Cowboys the pick for this one. Cowboys 35, Chargers 26
Minnesota Vikings (-2.5) Over New York Giants
The Vikings have already been eliminated from playoff contention, but at least they aren’t on an eight-game losing skid. The Giants' injuries, combined with poor defensive play, have them picking first in the NFL draft, and they will not throw that opportunity away against Minnesota. The Vikings are the more consistent team on offense, they have the more experienced defensive unit, and will prevail on the road. Vikings 20, Giants 16
Buffalo Bills (-10) Over Cleveland Browns
It is hard to put into words how bad the Browns have been this season. Their offense has been truly tragic, their defense hasn’t been great outside of a historic year from Myles Garrett, and they take on a desperate Bills side looking to punch their playoff ticket with a win. The Browns have lost three straight, with two blowouts and a close loss to the 1-11 Titans. Another blowout is on the cards here. Bills 31, Browns 9
New Orleans Saints (-4.5) Over New York Jets
Laying points with the Saints isn’t on anyone’s bucket list, but the Jets are an automatic fade right now. New Orleans is trending up after their upset win over the Panthers, while the Jets are coming off back-to-back blowout losses. Tyler Shough may not be the answer for the future of this franchise, but he is good enough to pick apart a free-falling Jets defense. Saints 24, Jets 14
Carolina Panthers (+3) Over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
A full field goal with the Panthers at home makes this one of the top picks of the week. Both of these sides suffered embarrassing divisional losses last week, but the Panthers being home underdogs makes them the way to go. Tampa Bay’s run defense is solid; they are getting healthier on offense, but they are still no match for a motivated Panthers side. This division will come down to their Week 18 matchup, which means the Panthers take this one. Panthers 20, Buccaneers 17
Miami Dolphins (+4.5) Over Cincinnati Bengals
The difference between the Dolphins' offense in hot and cold weather is as clear as day. While there are rumors of a quarterback change in Miami, a dreadful Bengals defense will struggle as usual. It is not as if their offense will bail them out either after laying a goose egg against Baltimore last week. Maybe the Bengals pull off the win, but they will fall short on the spread. Bengals 30, Dolphins 27
Kansas City Chiefs (-3) Over Tennessee Titans
Are things looking good in Kansas City? Absolutely not. They’ve been eliminated from the playoffs, they have nothing to play for, and are still road favorites against the Titans. Fortunately for Kansas City, the Titans are even worse. Tennessee is 0-7 at home this season, and another drubbing is on the cards. The Chiefs need a feel-good win, and they will get it with Gardner Minshew under center. Chiefs 27, Titans 15
Jacksonville Jaguars (+3) Over Denver Broncos
The Jaguars have been electric this season and have much more to lose against Denver this week. The Broncos have managed to keep their double-digit win streak alive with clutch plays in the fourth quarter, but that luck will eventually run out. Getting a key number with the red-hot Jaguars is nice for a game they could easily win outright. We can’t buck the trend of Denver finding a way to win, but the Jags are the pick against the spread. Broncos 31, Jaguars 30
Atlanta Falcons (-2.5) Over Arizona Cardinals
The Falcons have extra rest, they are coming off a win, and with the spread under a field goal, they are the way to go. There will be no tanking for Atlanta as they have traded away their first-round pick and want to keep evaluating their talent at this stage of the season. The Cardinals are collapsing on both sides of the ball, while the Falcons' offense under Kirk Cousins is rolling. Falcons 35, Cardinals 20
Detroit Lions (-6.5) Over Pittsburgh Steelers
This is a thick line to swallow, but the Lions' explosive offense makes them the play. Shutting down a frozen Tua Tagovailoa is a very different task than handling a well-rounded Lions offense. The Steelers' defense still has real problems, and those issues will be exposed against formidable opposition. Since this is still under a touchdown, we have no choice but to tail Detroit. Lions 40, Steelers 25
Houston Texans (-14) Over Las Vegas Raiders
The Texans are the hottest team in the league right now, pairing a dominant defense with a full-throttle offense. The Raiders just got shut out by a struggling Eagles side last week, and they will once again struggle to put up points. Houston needs a win to keep their division hopes alive, and it will emphatically get that against a tanking Raiders team. Texans 32, Raiders 7
New England Patriots (+3) Over Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens have more to lose in this one, but the reality is that the Patriots are the more complete team. Their collapse against the Bills will overshadow a productive first half, and this is a great time to buy low on New England while selling high on the Ravens. Lamar Jackson hasn’t looked like himself this season, and he will be outdueled by Drake Maye in primetime. Patriots 27, Ravens 21
San Francisco 49ers (-6) Over Indianapolis Colts
The feel-good story of Philip Rivers was nice last week. He got a close game against a strong Seattle side, but things will be very different in this one. San Francisco will jump out to an early lead, and when the Colts have to abandon the run, they will quickly fall further behind. 49ers 28, Colts 10
