2025 Dallas Cowboys Season Win Total Picks

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I hate the Cowboys just as much as you do.
I loathe their obnoxious, disgusting fans in their repulsive state. I’m an annoyed by their clueless, decrepit owner. The faux feeling of entitlement from everyone and everything surrounding this franchise is gross.
Watching the Cowboys fail over and over and over and over again is one of the true joys of being an NFL fan.
But when it comes to making money betting on sports, never let emotion get in the way of opportunity.
And when I look at the 2025 Dallas Cowboys I see a chance to pad the stack.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
DALLAS COWBOYS 2025 OFFENSE
New head coach Brian Schottenheimer is a bit of an unknown. His dad, Marty was a great one. But Brian spent 14 nondescript years as an offensive coordinator and was in the NFL for 25 years before landing his first job.
Schottenheimer’s pedigree suggests he is going to be dedicated to running the ball and grinding the clock. Add in that his chosen offensive coordinator, Klayton Adams, is a former offensive line coach and the Cowboys will likely try to grind things out behind a young, talented offensive line.
Unfortunately for the Dallas rushing attack, all their skill position talent is everywhere except the running back room.
Dak Prescott only played eight games last year. He finished second in the MVP voting in his last full season (2023), though, and has proven himself as a steady, unspectacular hand at guiding the offense.
The receiving duo of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens has the chance to be one of the best in the league. And explosive youngsters like Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin will join Lamb and Pickens to provide a lot of big play potential.
Add it together and this group should be much better than last year’s No. 21 scoring group.
DALLAS COWBOYS 2025 DEFENSE
Matt Eberflus was a complete and total loser as a head coach. But the guy knows how to coach defense. I think that he will quickly turn around a group that was No. 28 in total defense and No. 31 in scoring defense last year.
Well, that is as long as the Cowboys quit dicking around and get Micah Parsons signed.
Dallas’ defense had zero depth last year. They couldn’t handle it when they lost Parsons, DaRon Bland, Trevon Diggs and DeMarcus Lawrence to injury for long stretches.
The Cowboys had a 12.9 defensive yards per point, second-worst in the NFL behind a historically bad Carolina defense. That number, and a -6 turnover differential, suggests that Dallas was a little unlucky on this side of the ball.
Several veterans were brought in this offseason as part of a sneaky good free agent class. Dante Fowler, Solomon Thomas, Kenneth Murray and Jack Sanborn should all contribute to turning around the league’s No. 29 rush defense.

DALLAS COWBOYS 2025 SEASON PICKS AND PREDICTIONS
You hear it all the time: go against the public.
Well, that oft-preached and rarely practiced gambling ethos fits perfectly when it comes to this year’s Cowboys.
Everyone is walking sideways from this group after last year’s failure. That is creating a bit of an opportunity on a team that is just one year removed from a streak of three straight 12-win seasons.
Dallas has gone 41-27 against the spread during the regular season over the past four years, posting three of four winning years at the window. They have also gone ‘over’ their Las Vegas season win total three of the past four seasons.
The Cowboys have been a great bounce back team. In 2015 they went 4-12, missed their season win total by -6 games and then rebounded to go 13-3 the next year. In 2020, they went 6-10 and missed their season win total by -5 games and then rebounded to go 12-5 the next year. Can they do it again?
I see the foundation of a .500 team here so I’ll peg them at 9-8 and I like them to get ‘over’.
Robert Ferringo has posted seven of 10 winning football seasons, including last year thanks to an astounding +10,830 three-month run. Robert banked nearly +40,000 in profit between 2010-2019 for a 10-year average profit of nearly +4,000. He has earned 11 of 16 overall winning years and 69 of 114 winning months while also going 23-9 with his football futures rated 5.0+ and earning 16 of 19 winning Super Bowls. He is a member of the Football Writers Association of America and he is set for another amazing football season. SIGN UP HERE TODAY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR 3-FOR-1 FOOTBALL SPECIALS!
