NFL Office Pool Picks Week 4
We’ve made it to the fourth week of the season in the NFL. Many of our readers have NFL office pools that use against the spread picks. We’re here to help you win those pools. It’s our mission to beat all of your co-workers and family members or friends for a little bit of money or bragging rights. Here’s the breakdown of every NFL game for Week 4.
Broncos vs Jets: If the Jets don’t win this game, Adam Gase will be fired. He actually might be fired as head coach of the Jets regardless. The Broncos are looking at their third quarterback for this game. If the Jets defense can’t get stops against the Broncos, forget it. Take the Jets +1.
Seahawks vs Dolphins: The Seahawks have the best offense in the league and are going up against one of the worst defenses in the league. The Seahawks defense has also been very poor in their secondary. But if you believe the Dolphins can stick around with the Seahawks offense and MVP candidate Russell Wilson, I’d like to know what you’re watching. Take the Seahawks -6.5.
Ravens vs Football Team: The Ravens were given a reality check against the Chiefs. One thing they’ve struggled with is his limiting sacks. The Football Team has done a great job getting to the quarterback. The metrics share that the Football Team has been solid on defense, but then they’ve still allowed plenty of points. Haskins and the offense can’t hang. Take the Ravens -13.
Chargers vs Buccaneers: Justin Herbert will take on Tom Brady. Usually I’d side with the youth, but Herbert took a step back in his last start and should struggle against a Bucs defense that has been really solid getting turnovers. Take the Buccaneers -7.
Browns vs Cowboys: The Cowboys have been incredible offensively, but the defense has been miserable. The Cowboys shut down the run but struggled in the pass game. Nothing to worry about against Baker Mayfield. Take the Cowboys -4.5.
Saints vs Lions: The Lions are coming off a big upset against the Cardinals, while the Saints have struggled after their Week 1 victory. Neither defense has been impressive this season. However, could you imagine the Saints at 1-3 after being projected to win their division? Brees will be ready. Take the Saints -4.
Colts vs Bears: The Bears have benched Mitch Trubisky for Nick Foles. Will that help the offense? Maybe. What we do know is how well the Colts have played on defense, and Rivers looks comfortable offensively. Take the Colts -2.5.
Vikings vs Texans: The Vikings and Texans are both 0-3 on the season. Both defenses have been brutal, but the one offense that can probably out-do the other would be the Vikings using their run game. Take the Vikings (TBD).
Cardinals vs Panthers: The Cardinals were upset by the Lions in their last game. The team lost their identity, and Murray started throwing interceptions. Don’t expect that against the Panthers defense. Take the Cardinals -3.5.
Jaguars vs Bengals: The Jaguars and Bengals have both shown offensive potential. But neither team has the defense to do much damage. Look for Joe Burrow to sneak out his first win of the season. Take the Bengals -3.
Giants vs Rams: The Giants are tanking for Trevor Lawrence, even with Daniel Jones. The Rams offense should roll right over this Giants defense. Take them Rams -13.
Patriots vs Chiefs: The Patriots have the best defense in the league going up against the Chiefs offense that is probably the best in the league. Who wins this match-up is a mystery, but the Patriots will hang around like they always do. Take the Patriots +7.
Bills vs Raiders: The Bills are 3-0 facing a Raiders team that’s probably a bit overhyped. When they faced the Patriots, things really didn’t look too good for the Raiders. Bills have a premier defense just like the Patriots do. Take the Bills -3.
Eagles vs 49ers: The 49ers are banged up, but the Eagles wouldn’t know. Carson Wentz looks horrible, and the defense can’t get enough stops. However, this game should be closer than the line suggests. Take the Eagles +7.
Falcons vs Packers: The Falcons continue to have all of the offense in the world, but the defense can’t hold opponents. Good luck holding Aaron Rodgers, who has the Packers offense going off to start the season. Take the Packers -7.5.
Titans vs Steelers: The Titans and Steelers will play a game on either Monday or Tuesday. Titans have a couple players with COVID. Won’t practice until maybe Saturday. Take the Steelers (TBD).
