NFL Office Pool Picks Week 8
From my analysis, it seems like sportsbooks and oddsmakers around the world are going to enjoy Sunday. Per my thoughts and analysis, there will be many upsets in Week 9 in the NFL season. In a week filled with divisional games with many implications, many upsets wouldn’t be shocking after all.
Many of our readers have NFL office pools that use them against the spread picks. We’re here to help you win those pools. It’s our mission to beat all of your co-workers and family members or friends for a little bit of money or bragging rights. Here’s the breakdown of every NFL game.
Falcons vs Panthers: The Falcons continue to find ways to lose. Meanwhile, you have to appreciate what the Panthers have done with Christian McCaffrey out of the picture. They’re 3-4, playing better defense, and have a solid passing game that should give Atlanta trouble. Take the Panthers -2.5.
Patriots vs Bills: The Patriots have defense. But maybe the Panthers were right for moving on from Cam Newton. He hasn’t thrown the ball well at all this season. The Bills offense has struggled lately and will struggle against the Patriots defense. It’s going to be a low-scoring game. I’d take the points. Take the Patriots +3.5.
Titans vs Bengals: Joe Burrow and the Bengals continue to lose close, hard-fought games. The Titans had won their close hard-fought games up until last week against the Steelers. I’m not sure the Bengals defense can put up much of a fight. Take the Titans -5.5.
Raiders vs Browns: The Browns are 5-2, yet, I have to say that I’m concerned. Odell Beckham Jr. has a torn ACL, and Nick Chubb won’t be returning anytime soon. Things might be unraveling for the Browns, even after their win over the Bengals. Take the Raiders +2.5.
Colts vs Lions: I’ve been impressed with the Lions. The Lions believe they have what it takes to make it to the playoffs this season. I can agree. They’ve got so many weapons on offense and have a defense that has performed way better than they’re getting credit for. The Colts, to me, seem like fake news. The Lions will find ways to score and win this game outright. Take the Lions +3.
Vikings vs Packers: The Vikings shouldn’t be 1-6. That team is way too talented. But they’re about to be 1-7 because they’re not nearly as talented as the Packers, who have Devantte Adams back to his normal self. Watch out for a high-scoring game. Take the Packers -6.5.
Jets vs Chiefs: I can never vouch for a team to win by 20 points. But we’re talking about the Super Bowl champions going up against the New York Jets. Nobody would be surprised if the Chiefs win by three scores. However, the Jets defense held Buffalo for the most part in the red zone. Take the Chiefs -19.5.
Rams vs Dolphins: It’s Tua Time! Tua Tagovailoa will get the start for the Dolphins against a very good Rams defense. It’s not going to be an easy first game for Tua. He’ll be a special quarterback, but don’t rely on him here. Take the Rams -3.5.
Steelers vs Ravens: This is always a fun rivalry. The Steelers are healthy this season, and the Ravens have a lot at stake in this game. The Steelers remain the only undefeated team in the NFL, but the Ravens can tie them in the AFC North standings with a win. This is such a toss up. But if you’re giving an undefeated team 3.5 points, how can you say no? Take the Steelers +3.5.
Chargers vs Broncos: Justin Herbert had his moments this season. Drew Lock has had his moments. Both defenses will come prepared in what should be a low-scoring game. I’d trust Herbert to make better decisions with the ball. Take the Chargers -3.
Saints vs Bears: The Bears didn’t look like a 5-2 team against the Rams on Monday Night Football. The Bears have a quality defense, but their defense won’t stop this Saints offense that could potentially have Michael Thomas back on the field. He might miss this game, too, though. Marquez Callaway was solid in his absence last week. Take the Saints -4.
49ers vs Seahawks: The Seahawks defense continues to be exposed. Meanwhile, the 49ers are shown signs of improvement and have looked very good in their last two games. The 49ers defense should do enough to get the win against the Seahawks. It’ll be back-to-back losses for the Seahawks. Take the 49ers +3.
Cowboys vs Eagles: This is for first place. I’m not kidding. The winner of this game will have three wins and be sitting first place. It doesn’t matter who the Cowboys quarterback is on Sunday. The Eagles should win this game handedly. The Cowboys are way out of place right now. Take the Eagles -7.5.
Buccaneers vs Giants: Daniel Jones was caught maskless at a bar. Rumors are swirling he might not even play this game against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. The defense of the Giants can only do too much. Don’t rely on the Giants offense to score many. Take the Buccaneers -10.5.
