Monday Night Football Picks: Philadelphia Eagles vs Green Bay Packers
Week 10, you've saved the best for last as two of the top teams in the NFC, the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles, face off in a potential postseason preview on Monday Night Football.
The Pack will play host, but it's the Eagles who are coming off a bye week. They're 6-1 under Nick Sirianni against the spread coming out of at least 11 days of rest. The only time they lost was against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
After the Super Bowl hangover that led to a shaky start to the season, the Philadelphia Eagles are precisely where they wanted to be before Week 10. Last year, they stumbled out of the gates and still ended up winning one of the most lopsided Super Bowls in history against a legendary dynasty that still isn't done.
So, why would they feel the need to kill themselves early on in the season only to fight injuries down the stretch? I'm not saying it was all planned and the AJ. Brown and Jalen Hurts' drama isn't real to an extent, but until I see this team struggle late in the season, we have to believe in them.
They were able to get right/revenge against the Giants in Week 8, and after a week and a day off, they get to play in the most historic stadium in the NFL, Lambeau Field.
This sounds fun and all until you remember the Packers are on the other side of the field. Currently at 5-2-1 with the tie to the Cowboys, Green Bay is still in first place in the NFC North ahead of the rival Lions.
The media is a trip, even the sports betting media sometimes, and we are the ones who are supposed to see past the hype. Green Bay beat Detroit in the first game of the season, and by Week 2, we were all crowning them the best team in football.
I've got them up there, and the 2025 season appears to be quite competitive at the top, but let's be realistic. Some major outlets, like ESPN, don't even have the Pack in their top 10 power rankings.

As you might expect, the Philadelphia Eagles are set up here to be a very public betting underdog, especially in primetime on Monday Night Football. At the moment, we see about 80% of the tickets on Philly but only about 55% of the money.
That's a decent divide. Is it always a good idea to fade the public? No. Look at the Bills last week in a similar spot. The difference is that they were at home, while Philly is on the road in a hostile environment.

The Philly offense has been fickle. They’re bottom five in the league on 3rd downs and as you might’ve guessed, top 5 on 4th downs. They’re #1 in red zone scoring, which has obviously been huge for them.
Jalen Hurts may not spread the ball around the field, but he also doesn't throw many picks. Philly is #1 in the NFL in protecting the football.
It will be an adjustment on Monday night for Jordan Love and the Packers' offense as they have to play without their breakout star at tight end, Tucker Craft. It seemed like one week, he was on top of the world, and just days later, he was being carted off with the dreaded torn ACL.
Both the Packers' run and pass defenses have been slipping over the past three games, as the Eagles have improved their offensive numbers. I love the bye week here for the underdogs to win outright, but I'll take the 2.5 points.
