NFL Draft Position Over Under Props Expert Predictions

While there are a lot of fun prop bets to follow along with, selecting the over or under on when a player is taken is a sound way to make some money. This draft offers a lot of potential first round trades with multiple teams carrying multiple first round picks and looking to move up. Outside of Fernando Mendoza being selected first overall, there is no certainty. We will get to enjoy the chaos of the first round soon enough, and as we ramp up the excitement, let’s round out our prop bets and make a little extra money.
Doc’s Sports offers NFL expert picks for every game on our NFL predictions page.
Jeremiyah Love O/U 4.5
Most people regard Jeremiyah Love as the best talent in this year’s draft. He will be the earliest running back taken since Saquon Barkley, as he will be drafted inside the Top 10. He has a great balance of strength and speed, with great vision and is also a solid route runner. Love totaled 21 touchdowns last season, rushing for over 1,300 yards, and averaging over two receptions per game. He is an incredible athlete and is going to be an instant game changer. Tennessee is going to be giddy about drafting him with the fourth pick.
My Pick: Under 4.5 -164
Sonny Styles O/U 5.5
With Arvell Reese and David Bailey getting all the attention as the two best defensive players in the draft, Sonny Styles is sitting there waiting for a turn to show the league he has the potential to be this year’s best defensive player. He is a true sideline to sideline player, offering both above average potential in run stopping and in the passing game. He will not fall outside of the Top Five, and it is likely that someone like the Dallas Cowboys will move up to take him.
My Pick: Under 5.5 -104
Caleb Downs O/U 9.5
Caleb Downs is often thought of as the smartest player in the draft. He is going to be a Top 10 pick, with the potential to be snagged at five by the New York Giants. He has a knack for finding the ball and will create his fair share of turnovers throughout the course of his career. The Cowboys have him high on their list and they would likely part with that other first rounder in order to move inside the Top 10 to take him. If it isn’t the Cowboys, the Giants, Saints, and Commanders are all in play here. Take the under.
My Pick: Under 9.5 -118
Mansoor Delane O/U 9.5
Mansoor Delane is going to be a solid cornerback in the NFL, but he is not going to be a Top 10 pick. Delane has solid tape, though some say he is not the best tackler. This may hurt his case of being a Top 10 pick, especially with a guy like Downs who has more to offer in the secondary. It won’t do him any favors that the cornerback class is very deep, further increasing the likelihood of a little draft slide as no one will feel pressured to reach at the cornerback position.
My Pick: Over 9.5 -152
Francis Mauigoa O/U 9.5
Though he is widely regarded as the highest graded offensive lineman, Francis Mauigoa has some injury concerns that will cause him to fall outside the Top 10 and not be the first offensive lineman taken. Spencer Fano will likely sneak ahead of Mauigoa, and we will see the latter be drafted in the 11-14 range. Fano also offers some strong versatility as he can play on either side and even move inside if needed. Mauigoa will still be a strong selection, just later than expected.
My Pick: Over 9.5 -132
Makai Lemon O/U 15.5
Makai Lemon is one of the top three receivers in this draft class, offering a lot of production in the slot. He has great tape and even better hands. He will offer up consistency and speed for whoever drafts him. Lemon recorded 11 touchdowns last season for USC and totaled 1,156 receiving yards. The Rams, drafting at 13, are frequently connected to Lemon in mock drafts. Even if he doesn’t go there, he won’t fall outside of the Top 15.
My Pick: Under 15.5 -140
Jermod McCoy O/U 32.5
Unfortunately for McCoy, his injury concerns are scaring teams around the league. He was once regarded as the best cornerback in the class, but these medical red flags have scared teams away from taking him early in this draft. He is going to fall, likely significantly. However, he will be worth it to anyone picking after pick 25. McCoy is incredible and he will turn into a high reward for the team who bets on the high-risk. In the draft, he will fall outside the first round, but the team that jumps on him the second time around will perhaps be the one who puts together the best draft class when it is all said and done.
My Pick: Over 32.5 +100
